I had two. One was an extremely smart Chihuahua named Pepe who was very sweet. That dog helped me survive some very bad times. I’m so very grateful for his loving companionship! Don't know how I would have survived without him!

When he was killed, it hurt too much to own another right away. I ended up with an incredibly sweet, very intelligent Siamese rat Mom named Mini. She was the most loving animal I have ever seen! EVER! She played with Mom’s dog and groomed my daughter’s dog. She even groomed the cat!

She would lay on my lap, stretch out and sleep. Mini sat on my shoulder a lot and laid against my neck. She even fell asleep there once… and rolled right off! It was hilarious. She wasn't hurt, of course, or it wouldn't have been so funny. I never knew anyone could love something so small so very much!

Pepe and Mini, I still love you both and miss you, my sweet angels on earth.

Do you have your own story about a wonderful pet who stole your heart?

I loooove <33333 my dog Spot. Ive had him sense I was 5 Im now 13. One day my mom came inside and told us not to go outside cause there was a strange dog outside. I didnt listen and luckily he was friendly. We put him in the paper and tied him up outside. I fell in love with him and spent alot of time outside with him(I even gave him a tennis ball). The neighbors kept complaining about his barking and no one responded to our add in the paper. So, we brought him inside and ended up keeping him. He is the best dog anyone could ask for. He always lays with me and rests his head on my shoulder. He also me protect me with his life. I love him and would in turn risk my life for him. He never bites or playe rough. we have been told he is a Catahoula. I couldnt ask for a better pet!!! I also own 15 rats they are also great pets!!!!

I had a cat named Lady. She was trained to the leash and loved to travel. Lady would bring me live lizards as a gift and loved to play with squirrels. She would chase them up trees then turn around and the squirrels would chase her down and up another tree. They would continue until she got tired. Finally, when I would try to read a book she would come and sit in the middle of the book and demand to have my attention. Too this day I still miss her. I lost her to pancreatitis in the mid 90's.
She was 12 years old.

My All Time Favorite is Maude, the old english sheepdog, she had a personality unlike any animal I've known before or since. I miss her dearly, she will always have her place in my heart. My 2 boys Gizmo and Gadget are also my favorites, one's a sheltie/pom mix and the other is a american eskimo mini. How can there only be one favorite..I love them all.

My favorite pet is the kitty I have named Whitney. I've had her since I was 5 (I'm 20 now) and I got her from the pound. She's absolutely the sweetest cat in the world. She comes when I call her, she always sleeps next to me and cuddles with me. I love her so much :)

My parents got me this Turtle and said I should name him "Rocky". He was not very big and I could carry him in my pocket. We did everything together. He love it when I would roll him down a hill and chase after him. Funny though, I guess Rocky was shy, I never see him eat and never really remember seeing his head. One day I took Rockey to "show and tell" at school. I set him on the Teacher's Desk and she said; "Oh, what a pretty rock. So, you collect rocks"?
I was devastated and heartbroken.

My favorite pet was Scraps the hampster. We got another hampster and we didn't know it was also male, so we put them together and when we woke up the next morning, the other hampster was chewing on Scrap's head. (Scrap's body was in the wheel.)
