The worse thing when I was gone, my one girl got out nearly everything we own that isn't nailed down and brought it into the living room.. We came home to a HUGE pile of clothes, shoes, coats, pails, books, OMG you name it.. EVERYTHING.
And she mixed in an entire 40lb bag of dog food into the pile.. It was like some sort of Garage sale Salad or something... And you would not believe how pleased she was with herself!
The worse mess they made when I was asleep was when 2 of them, and I am not naming names :) took a feather pillow and opened the end and spread feathers over the entire living room.. I woke up and couldn't figure out what the heck happened.. It took me most of the day to clean that one up.. I couldn't help but to laugh as I was cleaning it up.. Imagining my own face when I saw the mess :)

We had two cats from a rescue centre (from kittens) it was obvious they weren't really brothers, despite one looking like a siamese and the other a persian, when we went there were nine siamese looking ones playing together and the little long haired kitten on its own. They always say that kittens pick you - and I looked down as I could feel some tugging at my skirt - there on the step was this tiny long haired kitten with huge whiskers looking up at me, trying to meow. I had to have him. His 'brother' was wild and scarred me by clawing my boobs the night we had him. He never adapted to living in a house and used to spray everywhere, despite the op - hormone treatment etc. He urinated over the playstation game and nearly caused a fire and then clawed all the wall paper in every room. I'd never had a problem cat before. ;-(

I worked at a big cat rescue for 7 years. Sometimes, we brought cubs home for the weekend. My boyfriend and I were babysitting two tiger cubs and we both thought the other was watching them. I was in the shower and he went out and they were loose in my house. They shredded my couch, clawed up my living room rug, demolished my throw pillows, pulled the tv off it's stand, knocked over my parrot's cage, pulled the tablecloth off my table and broke my plates, clawed the wallpaper, got into my bedroom and popped my water bed and had my housecat cornered on top of the fridge before I got out of the shower. It was really funny because they were covered in fluff from the pillows and soaked from the waterbed, but I was SOOOO mad.

We had two dogs, a yellow lab and a dalmatian. We went out and by the time we got home, they had ripped up the living room carpet and the carpet pad was scattered around the house like confetti. Then the jumped up on the table and knocked the garbage can over, then persisted to tear that up aparently all over the place..coffee grinds, paper towels, paper plates....you name it and they tore it up. Of and I cant forget...somehow one of them (we are guessing the lab) got the spagetti strainer and chewed that up a bit. Needless to say, there was a lot of cleaning to do.

A short time after we got our Rottweiler puppy, we went off to church one Sunday. Arriving home and opening the lounge door I discovered the entire lounge floor filled with white dacron filling. The Rotty had eaten her way though one side of our three-seater settee. Imagine the laugh I got when telling the insurance man this? But they paid up. We now make sure all the doors are open, so she doesn't get worried.

My cat had caught a mouse and left it dead on the floor, threw up about 3 times and used the carpet as her own litter box. It was a mess

Our dog pooped just inside the front door, so when Hubby got home from work, he stepped in it. It wasn't a mess until he smeared it further with his foot.
