Professional dog training will do it. I took all of my dogs through it and am very happy with the results. Now, I would not own a dog that was not trained professionally. It's great fun for the owner as well as good for the dog. I did obedience and attack training....the dog gets a lot of confidence and is less likely to ever bite a person.

Take it to obedient training and be prepaired to spend a lot of time working at it.

I got my dog at 1.5 years old and we went to obedience training right away. It's been 3 years and at 4.5 years old she's gotten so much better.

But I walked her almost every day and worked on incorporating commands into everyday activities.

A professional is the way to go, depending on how intelligent your dog is he/she should be able to learn 20 to 30 word commands without to much trouble. Just keep an eye on your local news paper and the Internet for dog trainers in your area code.

practise, plenty! We use clicker training... as quickly as I first taught instructions, like sit down working example, i'd provide the dogs a reward each and every time he sat... then as quickly as i be attentive to that he understand the command i began out priceless basically the swifter sits... in case you hold doing that, you will desire a dogs that sits immediately, or is going right into a down so rapid interestingly like a abdomen flop :) yet, it takes consistency and a lot of practise. attempt to slot in half-hour of coaching each and every day.
