I have a cat that sneezes a lot and her "boogers" stick to the floor and dry rock hard! I would clean it up ASAP, but I'm at work most of the day. How do I clean it up? Any suggestions?

Well first of all, why is your cat sneezing so much? She may need to be put on an allergy treatment regimen. Which will hopefully stop the sneezing, or at least slow it down, a lot.

As for your booger dilemma, my best advice would be to drop a dot of dish washing liquid onto it and let it sit for a minute. I mean it gets dried up food off of dishes, why not boogies off of floors?

Seriously though, the fact that your cat even has enough mucous buildup to leave boogers when she sneezes kind of worries me, so think about a vet visit, k?

Good luck...

Get a towel you're not especially fond of, and soak it in very warm water. Lay the hot wet towel over the dried gunk, and leave it alone for a few minutes. Should come right up after that.

I'm a little worried about your poor cat though, does she have allergies or an infection? Cats shouldn't sneeze much.

If he is sneezing once in a while it is probably just allergy related. If the sneezing is very often it is more of a serious problem and you should take him to the vet.

Don't use the cat itself like the one person suggested! That's bad. Try spraying a cleaner (Windex, 409,etc.) and let it soak for a few minutes. Stay nearby so your kitty won't lick it. Then use a paper towel or cloth to clean it. Or baby wipes could work. An old spatula maybe?

Scrub them off using the cat itself. Their claws are great as scouring pads. The tails get into those hard to reach areas real good.
