I have a Neon Tetra that has developed a couple of white spots, more like discoloration, has a droopy back tail, and can't maintain his balance. He swims up and down and roles on his side? Is he just old? Does he have an infection in his air bladder? Or does he have a disease? Furthermore, should I kill him? I don't want to infect the other fish. I have a very healthy aquarioum otherwise.

I bought a guinea pig 5 days ago and he has a cage and all his stuff in it, but he didn't have a hiding place, so I got a box and cut a hole in it. he liked in and everything but now he's barely coming out of it, when I take it out he starts eating and drinking. What should I do? Take the box out for good? Or leave it? Also when I take him out of the cage and let him go on the floor he looks fo a place to hide. Is that normal? I'm really concerned, so plase help me. Thanks!

My kitten is about 4 months old. I always find him sitting inside his litter box or lying down, sometimes even sleeping. Why does he do this? He's so funny too because it's usually only when someone is in the bathroom with him (where his litter box is). Like when my daughter is in the bath he sits in his box and hangs out with us. If I go to use the restroom, he runs in there with me and sits in his box watching me...it's very odd.

my son is "all boy" full energy. However, he is very gentle with babies and things that are small. My husband and I are confused, We asked him one day he says kitten the other puppy?? Any advice is helpful. Thanks.

We think she is between 6 & 8 months old. She was badly matted so we had to get her stripped so I can't really tell for sure if she is maltese but from all the pics I see of them, she sure looks like it. My question is she screeches a very loud high ptiches noise when ever I leave her. She even screeches when I close the bathroom door to take a shower. She is at my side constanly and is great. She chews the kids toys alot but I think that is typical of any pup. Is this screeching typical of Maltese dogs?

When I'm in bed, my kitten comes up to me and lies under the blanket as close to me as possible. Then she starts to meow and gets up then licks my chin and purrs like crazy. She wants to be petted and then again licks me...while I'm petting and kissing her, she starts to bite my nose, ears, chin and lips. She bites really hard and twice she has made my lip gush out tons of blood. It bled forever! I like to cuddle with her but without the biting. My other cats don't do this. How do I get her to stop?

once we get into the car...he flips out. he does really well (for just learning the harness and leash..) but he starts panting and going crazy once he gets inside the car....and then it's non-stop meow-ing. i've never had a pet (including two other cats) who have ever had such a problem with the car...
any suggestions on getting him ok in the car????

We rent a 4 bedroom house and the basement is turned into a apartment. To make a long story short the tenet downstairs told me that she told the landlord we have a cat so now we are getting evicted. (They have a dog) We have had this cat for 7 months. The tenet is saying she is so allergic to our cat that she is on several meds from many doctors to control this. Could it really be that bad? When we first got the kitten she see it and said I used to be allergic to cats but I have not had any problems at that point we already had the cat for 3 months. She says it is because we share air vents. But we are upstairs and the cat box and food is on the 3rd floor. The girl who lived downstairs before they moved in over 1 years ago had a cat there for 2 years??? what is going on here is it my cat or they don't like to live in the basement???
