When he does number 2 he lets out blood!

There are many reasons that this could happen. It could be something minor such as something he/she ate. If this is the case it will stop in a few days. However, blood in the stool can signify internal bleeding as well as many other more serious conditions and is never something to overlook. You should take your dog to the vet for an exam.

Take a stool sample to the vets and have it tested for giardia & coccidia and worms most dogs have these and the vet will give you S-125 or metronidazole or worm meds for what ever it has

The only dog I ever knew that did this had intestinal cancer. She was 2 yrs old...and died by the time she was 4 yrs.

He may be bleeding internally. Go to a vet.

my golden did that,,,,, she had cancer.. and died within the year - you need to go to vet where he will perform a rectal exam and will let you know if further exploratory surgery is indicated
