He paws me and puts his head under my arm and constantly wants to be petted. He lives in the garage when I am at work, so I give him all of the attention I can when I am home, but he is turning into a booger and will not leave me alone long enough to read the newspaper or get onto the internet. Do I just keep petting him? He is brown, with big brown eyes, and hairy. He is a lab.

I want to get a bird, but not right now. I want a bird like my sisters (Indian Ring Neck), but she said it is hard to get a bird to be that loving. I want a bird that can talk, but is not any smaller than a Ring Neck. My sister said get a African Grey. I want a bird that is kinda big and can talk. HELP me to choose if I should get what kind of bird!!

I noticed about one week ago that my dog Cujo kept licking his tail. When I went to look to see if there was anything there, all I noticed was a pin-head sized drying scab. I thought maybe the groomer nipped him when he went there a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday I noticed his fur close to his skin was a light purply/pink and the scab was still there but now the skin was red. His fur close to his skin on his tail was so matted from all the licking that I had to cut a good amount of fur off just to see what was bothering him. I just rinsed his tail with cool water and wrapped his whole tail with a long piece of cotton. Should I be taking him to the vet? Is this common in Bichon's? This is the first time he has ever had this. Any suggestions?

My dog is scaring me. Ok I am bringing her to the vet in the morning. She is running around chasing her tail and biting it alot and crying. She is itching all over her body and chewing on it. Also itching her ears. She is also very hyper and not really eating to well. I gave her a bath yesterday thinking it might help but its actually worse. She doesn't have fleas I checked. What could this be and how can I help her until tommarrow.

My cat was sick last night and was making strange noises. Today I got home and found him under my table not moving much. It won't really move to touch and makes a sad noise. It won't eat much and is vomitting. It won't move almost at all. Anyone know what may be wrong? Someone told me that it might have been poisoned, any truth to that? Thank you very much.

I had a male and female betta together for weeks. They were getting along so well that I was actually surprised. I checked on them 2 or 3 times a day. Last night I noticed that she has just beat the crap out of him. His tail is almost gone and so is his top fin. He was a beautiful Crown Tail. I separated them immediately. Now, will his beautiful tail and fins grow back? It doesn't seem to bother him. He is happily swimming around and eats without a problem, but he looks awful. Please help!!

I have an indoor ONLY cat who I hope is pregnant because I bred her. She isn't showing the normal signs of a cat in heat, but I haven't had her for long, so I don't know what is normal for her. Anyway, I keep seeing these 2 different cats in my yard that I have never noticed before. It is cold outside so they could be strays looking for food/trash. I'm just curious. This is my first time to have a indoor cat that is not spayed.

I got this dog from a shelter, and it has been listed as an Australian Shepherd and Catahoula. I can see the Catahoula, but the hair is not long enough really to be a shepherd although the body style is there. She weighs only about 35 pounds and is full grown.

Any ideas?

i'm going on a trip during the summer for a month and a half. i'll be going with my whole family, so there will be no one to take care of my 6 year old yorkie. we can't take her with us because the trip will be hard for a dog. last time, my dog stayed home with my brother and dad, while my mom and i took a vacation, and she still didn't eat for 3 days until she heard our voices over the phone. we might leave her at the vets or a kennel, but she might have a heart attack. she almost did last time. my neighbor is too old and hates dogs, but my father's co-worker/friend might be able to come everyday after work to check on her and take her inside. the problem with that is my dog might have a heat stroke. it gets very hot in southern CA plus we take her into an air-conditioned room all day during the summer. please, i really need your help. thanks in advance.

I have a fantail Goldfish and i have heard that picking up a fish with a net is bad for its scales.

they both pregnant when i got them at the store.
the wagtail is biger and the mickey (just little biger,in preg).my 2 male guppies and one male mickey platy keep chase them,but not the other wagtail platies.since the day i get them home the pregnant wagtail all way bully the other wagtail(unpreg)but not anymore.is this nature or some thing go ing wrong?at night the wagtail pregnant female alway stay still in the bushes.
i can see the ravided dot in both of them.sometime i think i see frys' eyes in the mickey platy's belly.i just got them on saturday 1/13and today is wed 1/17and i dont know how long they've been pregnant.how long does the pregnancy going to take?the male and the female mickey platy alway stay eachother.
the ravid in the wagtail is kinna brow or black.
and the other yellow micky platy ravid dot is like brow with frys'eyes.how many fry will i be have?what should i do?the wagtail female eat alot is that ok?i got a 20 gallon aqua.how many guppies and platies can i get ?
