I got this dog from a shelter, and it has been listed as an Australian Shepherd and Catahoula. I can see the Catahoula, but the hair is not long enough really to be a shepherd although the body style is there. She weighs only about 35 pounds and is full grown.

Any ideas?

Looks like it might have some siberien huskey in her, But Sheperd and Catahoula do look to be right. But i just thought siberian huskey cause of the eyes and a little of the face and ears, but that could just be the sheperd. Very nice dog.

She might be a Husky - Catahoula mix, or an Aussie - Catahoula mix or even a Husky - Aussie mix. Its hard to tell for sure. Huskys will have the blue eyes, errect ears, and long shafted hairs. Aussies can have blue eyes too and the merel coloring like the Catahoula dog too.

Thats my best guess. Good looking dog though.

I agree with the Catahoula and Aussie mix, beautiful blue eyes and head shape of the aussie. She is a pretty one! Thank you for adopting from a shelter!

She is small for a Catahoula which typically weigh 55-80 pounds. I agree with Angel...I think it is an ACD mix(Aust. Cattle Dog).

Well, she looks like a Catahoula by her patterning (they can be merle, so that explains the coat pattern). I would argue that she may have german shepherd in their, but not australian shepherd (she looks nothing like an Aussie). Her face is very much that of a german shephed...

best guess would be Catahoula and German shepherd...but she could have multiple breeds in her lineage.

It is probably a catahoula/ Austailian cattle dog mix. I have a cattle dog mix that looks similar to yours. Another name for the Austrailian cattle dog is a blue heeler. If you look up photos of a blue heeler, you will agree with me. Very cute, by the way!

I would agree with what the shelter said. She is the size and has the frame of the Aussie, but the coloring of the Catahoula. She is very pretty!

she shows DEFINITE signs of the Australian Shepherd, but because of her body shape, I'd say she's mixed with another herding dog. The first thing I saw besides Aussie is a Border Collie.

I would agree, this is a pic of my dog. She is Aussie and Chocolate lab. Most people think she is a Catahoula. Fun dogs.

Looks a lot like an aussie, except for the coat. I'd agree, probably that kind of mix. You can never tell though. I have a mutt beagle that looks purebred except for some features I know are mutt-like. I might never know what elsee is in him.
