If you want a mixed breed pup, why not go to a shelter and try to find one there. You will not be able to find a reputable breeder who breeds mixed breed dogs. And you should not pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for mixed breeds. Save some money and save a life, adopt from a shelter.

A goldendoodle is merely a designer breed to make money. These are just crosses between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle- and noone reputable would breed these dogs

Please understand that in order for a breed to be considered a breed, it must have a designated purpose, a standard of how the breed should look and the temperment, and all of this must breed true for 5 generations (these means you'd have to have an entire litter of puppies that are essentially consistent in look for each generation). It takes many generations by EXPERIENCED individuals to actually achieve this...and it also would involve breeding goldendoodles to goldendoodles.

Goldendoodles aren't a breed, they are a mix between a Golden Retreiver and a Poodle. Responsible breeders do not delibrately breed mixes.
These dogs have no "type" no particular traits. They can be long haired, medium haired, curly haired, straight haired, wavy haired, they can be heavy shedders, moderate shedders, heavy shedders,,,despite claims they are not "hypoallergenic" (really there is no such thing in any dog)..some are very hyper, some take more after Goldens, Some after Poodles, some are a mix of the two. They are prone to hip/elbow dysplasia, eye problems, thyroid issues and some types of cancers (take after the breeds of which they are mixed)

In reality they are high priced mixes.

Yes, I agree with Dane Lover. Goldendoodles are a hybrid dog, and you are probably better off getting a purebred dog. If you really are interested in a mixed breed dog, though, there are tons of dogs in animal shelters that need homes. I have a purebred dog and a mixed breed that I got from a shelter, and the dog I got from the shelter has a better tempermant than my purebred pup ( I do love my purebred puppy, of course). I'm sure you will find the right dog, or the right dog will find you!

Good Luck,

Goldendoodles are just mutts, you can find them for free on any given corner. I would look at some shelters, you can still get one but be saving a life.
