My cat was sick last night and was making strange noises. Today I got home and found him under my table not moving much. It won't really move to touch and makes a sad noise. It won't eat much and is vomitting. It won't move almost at all. Anyone know what may be wrong? Someone told me that it might have been poisoned, any truth to that? Thank you very much.

Hi Chris... in all honesty, there are many possibilities which can cause a kitten to be expel frequently, be lethargic and have a lack of appetite.

Please consider ringing a veterinarian to discuss your concerns with them to determine if your kitty should be immediately brought in to be evaluated and treated respectively. It's too difficult to provide you an accurate answer why your kitty may be sick as it could be anything such as accidental ingestion of foreign substances, toxins, maybe feline diseases/disorders, etc. Only a licenced veterinarian recommendations should be entrusted rather than any strangers here on Yahoo Answers despite how well-meaning the intentions.

What is wrong with you? Your cat is obviously very very sick. You must take him to the vet NOW instead of wondering if the cat may have been poisoned. The vet can tell you all that and perhaps save the cat's life. But I fear you have left things too long.

Your cat could of gotten into medicine or even if it got into a piece of gum it could of poisoned your cat. You need to take it to the vet, no one on here can give your the right answer because there could be so many things that could be wrong.

get off Yahoo, and take him to the vet. The same thing happened to my cat a few years back. My roommates left out the rat poison and my cat ate it. I had to put him down. It was the saddest thing.

Please take him to the vet, don't let him suffer like that. He needs help.

I would take it to the vet right away! if could get very ill and hurt. No time to type or do other stuff take her/him in very soon! Hopefully the outcome is OK. but remember to love him/ her a lot on the way if the outcome isn't what you wanted. and remember not to frighten it or let it outside in the cold, because that could be HORRIBLE!!!

I would say, your cat's disease has gotten worse. You need to take your cat to the vet for shots, and maybe a special medication. Keep your cat warm, don't let your cat stay in/on any cold spot. Such as tile, outdoors (unless it's positively warm), the garage, and any cold spot. Keep your cat indoors, on carpet, or in a carpeted, warm room with the litter box, food, and water bowls. Good luck!

ur cat is sick. like..maybe a cold? make sure ur cat gets a lot of water right next to him so that he doesnt have to move much. ur cat probably has da fever. dont give him much food/ just lost of water/. if this goes on for more than 24 hrs ur cat can be deadly sick. vets will help on that.
