Go to Walmart. Buy at least 2 cases of tomato juice in big cans.
You'll also need about 2 lbs of baking soda and a couple dozen lemons. Also buy a couple bottle of Febreeze and some air fresheners for your house.
Put the stopper in your bathtub. Empty the cans of tomato juice into it. Bathe your dog in the juice (no soap). Leave on for 15 minutes. Rise off with lots of warm water. Drain the tub.
Fill it up again with warm water. Dump in the boxes of baking soda. Scrub the dog with dog shampoo and the baking soda water. Let sit for 5 minutes. Rinse off well.
While you are bathing dog have someone else cut all the lemons into four pieces each.
To finish off squeeze and rub the lemons all over the dog avoiding the eye and nose area. Do not riinse.
Towel dry dog.

Give the dog a tomatoe juice bath. If he is still suffering (if the skunks got him straight in the face) the dog will have to get drops for his eyes and something so that he will be able to eat without tasting that awful smell.

Tomatoe juice bath, this is what groomers use. They literally bathe the dog in tomatoe juice until the odor is gone. Buy two large cans of juice and wash away the smell.

I grew up out in the country where that happened a lot. We always used tomotoe juice for ourselves too.

2 issues: you may bypass to a puppy keep and get stuff relatively for that, inspite of the incontrovertible fact that I even have in no way used it, besides the undeniable fact that it is assume to artwork large, or purchase female douche?lemon heady scent and combine that up and pour throughout him. bypass away on for slightly and then shampoo.i'm severe approximately this and it does artwork. Tomato juice works ok, yet not as solid as the two issues i discussed.

my aunt always washed her dogs in tomato juice to get the smell out. You may have to soak it in there for a while and do it once or twice but it will work.

Soak him in some tomato juice. It neutralizes the odor. Let him soak a good 10 minutes then bathe.

Start with Dawn dishwashing soap. There are commercial products out there that will help too. It will take awhile for the smell to go away 100% though.
