I am looking at a puppy that looks just like a boxer, but she's pure black---solid.The lady found the female dog abandoned and she was pregnant alreaday, so she doesn't know if the pups are all boxer or mixed.....Thanks for input..

My light is a full spectrum flourescent, and I found the algae grows more quickly with the light on a lot. I don't know how long the light should be left on every day for the health of the fish. I have heard some people say not at all, and some say part of the day, and some say almost all of the day. I would like to hear your opinions...thanks

They play a lot and get along well when we are home but they play very rough. They bite at each other and growl and roll around but seem to be playing. I am just worried that they might hurt each other. But the beagle pup REALLY wants to be with the pug and she cries horribly in her crate most of the day while we are gone.

My bf and I have only had our pomeranian pup 6 days but we love him and he is normally well-behaved. He is cage trained. His cage is in the bedroom (used at night) and his pen is in the living room (used in the day time). I am litterbox training him in the pen. He is doing incredibly well with it. The problem is: whenever I am more than 10 ft away --even within his sight-- he whines, yelps, and howls (in a tiny puppy way --LOUD, sounds like screaming baby!). After walking him, feeding him, playing with him, I would like to be able to sweep my dining area and clean the table without having the neighbors think I'm killing him. How can I silence him? Or is it even age-appropriate to expect him to play with his toys while I am 10 ft away? HELP!!!

i been with my boyfriend for 2 1/2 years and i just move to cali to live with him. before he would always come and visit and seemed fine with my cats. after moving in i noticed my cats were scared of him and wouldnt come out when he was home. he makes no attempt to be nice to them. they dont bother him at all. he wont even sleep with me cuz he dislike them. one day i wasnt home and my boyfriend was then he left to go to work. they wouldnt come out after he left and i knew some thing was wrong. i found both of them under my bed and they looked wet and beat up. i thought they might of eaten something bad. but i question my boyfriend if he did anything. he said no. i took them to the vet and she didnt know what to think she gave me meds for my cats and they got better. just recently i found out that my boyfriend has been abusing my cats when i am gone. i want to move back home but he is begging me to stay. he is in the marines and is getting help now. why would he do this behind my back?

hello, when i play fetch with my dog (max) he will go get the object but wont give it back to throw it again.All he wants me to do is try to catch him while he runs around with it in his mouth . So to my question, is this just silly play for him or is he trying to be the dominant one???

They are constantly doing something bad. We have to keep them out of our bedroom at night because they claw our capet, and the blanekts on our bed. When we put them out, they claw at the door until we open it. We try to disapline them, but nothing works.....they love water, so that's out of the question....can someone help, i'm out of ideas.

I am thinking about getting a pet rat, i have been trying to find out as much information as I can, I havent been having very much luck with finding any websites...if you know any that would be great. I also have a few questions that you could help me out with if you know the answers:
how big of a cage does 2 Rats need?
what kind of food do they eat? and how much per day?
what type of treats do they need?
do they need to be bathed?
what about there teeth?
do they need something to chew on?
what about there bedding?
do they need to be hot/cold?
and if you could give me any more info that would be awesome! :)

I took her on a short walk to do her business and we we came in she started coughing and hacking up this white foam. It has me really concerned. She did not eat anything, I watched her the entire time. She starts breathing really hard and I called the vet they just said watch her....that didn't make me feel any better. I am really worried, can anyone help? :(
