I know what a wierd pet but I love bugs and insects. I am going to buy a millipede this weekend and I just need to know the basics of care.

I want to work at a stable soon, maybe when the weather gets nicer. I'm a healthy, strong 12-year-old who's turning 13 in a little more than a month. My problem is that I'm a little nervous to ask my parents, even though it won't cost anything. How can I gently ask my parents for permission?

Another question is how to go about looking for a suitable stable. I've been donig some online checking but haven't found one that sparks my interest. How do I go about looking for a stable to ask about and to contact?

Does this ever work? Getting another dog to "train" the dog you already have? Like teaching it manners, what's right and wrong, who is actually the boss around the house. My dog is so, well, she just acts spoiled! We can't seem to get anything through to her. Any humane suggestions welcome. : )

My cat scratches along the top edge of the stairs, and tears them to shreds. I am unable to trim her claws - she was a rescue and doesn't like to be handled, and I will not declaw her. I don't like the look of hardwood, and really want to find carpeting material that can withstand her clawing.

I need some comments on how to raise my energy level. I am taking a full time upper level college courses. I have a pretty intense schedule with that. I also have a job at a cpa firm part time. I feel like i have no energy lately. i used to wake up at 9 or 10 am even on my days off. and now im sleeping till 12 30 1. and ready for a nap at 4. help. i know that i do not eat right. i need some ideas of what to help me gain more enegery and health. i do not eat any dark meat. i like fruits, but probably do not get enough of it. i dont like sea food. and i dont drink pop. i also have low blood sugar. if im sitting in class sometimes my mind just wanders and i get shaky , and once i eat a peice of candy or soemthing i feel better. help.

he`s 3 years old, has the run of the garden, comes in when it`s cold, but every so often he growls and attack me.
When He wants to be he can be really affectionate, but you cant touch him, he comes and strokes your leg.

Okay, my bf has a probably an almost 3 yr old black lab. This dog has given me nothing but problems since we moved in together. He is very well trained for him, such as sit and stuff. however, when i tell him to do somethin, he does it until someone coems over. if my dad comes to visit, or my friends, he follows them and ignores my commands like they will save him. biggest problem is... he stared getting tempermental to both of us. for instance, i caught him today chewing on a stuffed animal he knows not to, i told him back and called him over to it, he growled at me. so i lightly smaked him in his nose. he snapped at me. i grabbed his nose and told him bad, and he went crazy. i had to put him outside bc he is pretty big, and im afraid he could hurt me. we recently got a kitten to and some days he loves her licking her and layin with her, others he growls at her when she is playing. i dont know why. he has grown up around dogs. he came from a house with 6 other dogs. help

She recently had a UTI. We treated it but she is still peeing in my living room. I have carpet and I have cleaned it several thousand times and with different solutions. She continues to do it.

She has always been my suck. At the end of October, I had a baby, taking the attention away from her. Could this be a rebelious thing and if so how do I stop it?

I don't want to get rid of her because I love her but I can't have her peeing on my carpet. I can't afford to get rid of the carpet yet (planning on doing it in the spring).
I've heard of putting the cat on a anti anxiety pill. Should I try it?

If I do get rid of her, how will it effect both her and her brother being separated? They have been together since birth. Please help! I've seen similar questions like this and ppl respond with "deal with it" or "would you get rid of your child for doing it"..well, I don't want to hear that. I need serious suggestions only

I have a 5 year old cat whose mellow 50% of the time and super hyped the other 50% - I mean she loves to chase things and get rough. Of course I would never leave her alone with a baby anyything, but as the bunny grows, will she be more aware of how to act around it? If I got a baby bunny, would she eat it? Do cats and bunnies get along well? Would a cat be too mean to a bunny?

she is a large dog and jumps up when i go outside, she almost knocks me over when she jumps up. She only jumps up on me! I have scratches from her when she jumps up. but the more i yell the more she she thinks it's a game! My husband just says sit and she does. But when he's not home she doesn't listen to me, she has even nipped me once. So I don't go outside when he's not home. I would love to hear a solution because I feel really bad that my husband is hanging out all the washing!
