There is no such thing as a "totally" non-shedding dog. (Unless they're hairless) All dogs shed at least a little hair at one time or another, as do humans. There are however dogs that shed little to no hair. This is a list of breeds that shed little to no hair.

ALL dogs (with the exception of hairless breeds) will and do shed.
Some just shed less than others...like Poodles, Bichons etc.

Forget the "doodles" being non shedding. Next time I get one in the shop I will take pics of all the hair flying off the dog while I groom it.

All dogs shed. However, some shed less than others. Some of those that shed less would be, Shih Tzu, Poodle, Maltese, Lhasa Apso, and Yorkie.

These dogs also have less dander and bother people with allergies less than some of the others.

NONE, all dogs shed thats how they get their winter and summer coat. There are things you could do to help them shed less. For example try to brush them more often also the food has a lot to due. Try staying away from by products and corn / corn meal foods. Innova, California Natural, adn Healthwise all natural dog foods. Check out the website www. natura.com

Poodles, Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apsos, Yorkies, Cocker Spaniels. Alot of the new mixes (Designer Dogs) also don't shed. I have a poodle & a york-a-peke...neither one sheds.

All dogs with hair shed!!!! Some just have longer anagen cycles (the period it takes for hair to grow to full length), so it seems as though they are not shedding.

Poodles and Bishon Frise are a couple. However they do require regular brushing and trimming. Yorkies probably don't shed either, but also requires a good deal of brushing. Don't get a pug they shed quite a bit. (their only bad trait though)

A bedlington Terrier doesn't shed any hair at all, I have one and the only time you see hair come from them is when they are brushed and it goes straight in the brush.
Another is a Poodle or Bichon Frise or Mexican hairless.

Just those butt-ugly little hairless things. Any living creature that has hair has to shed it to grow new hair.
