we have a budgie he`s 3, he`s so clever, talks and eveything, just wondered how long he will last, everyone keeps telling me different things.

I have a Budgie and I love her very much too. She is over 6 and is very interactive, she comes out all the time and loves it. Animals live the longest when they have stimulation and love. I have heard these birds can live to be 15 or older in the best situations. I hope this is true, but if your bird is happy she will probably live for a long time.

a clean cage
daily exercise
a healthy diet including fresh fruit and vegetables offered daily
plenty of activity and companionship! If at any time you suspect your bird is unwell,see a vet within 24 hours if possible. Birds need prompt attention when sick. Budgies are prone to tumors,so keep a regular check on your bird.

they live along time um i have one now that i've for about 3 years and i know i found her outside and she was bout 5 or 6 at the time i think they can live to be ne where 15 to 20 years old depending on how well you take care of them and if they have the proper things to live off of

They live for 20+ years. It really depends on how well cared for he is. You have to take him to the vet once a month, give him vitamins in his food, make sure his cage is clean all the time & most importantly..... Give him lots of TLC!!!

I read an article once that the oldest know budgie was 31yrs old- It all depends on how healthy your baby is....
