she had them around Wednesday maybe (1-10-07) this is not her first litter it is her 3 or 4 she does still live with her "husband" but she hardly spends any time with him anyways Shes a big loner I considered starving her see how she likes it (no im just kidding i would never ever do that to an animal no matter what the circumstance was) Although one time i did softly nip my cats ear after it tried to eat my little hammy LOL no seriously i did and did any one see the pet rock quistion i found that one kind of humurous

well, to start off, this will be a major undertaking. go to the pet shop and get some baby formula and a baby bottle. you will have to feed them about every two hours around the clock!
the one thing you have to be extra careful about is not drowning them. be patient and don't rush it by squeezing the bottle. if you get milk coming out of their nose you are going to fast.
it may work and it may not. the odds are against you.but as the old saying goes, nothing ventured, nothing gained. i'm with you tho. i have done this kind of thing many many times over the years.
and don't forget you have to keep them warm. put them in a box with a small hot water bottle or put the box on a heating pad on low with a towel over the heating pad.
good luck.

Is the boy still in the cage? How long did the mom abandon them for?
If the male is still in the cage, take him out right away.
Mom's don't spend every second on their babies. The babies will be okay for a little while without mom. But, in some cases, the moms WILL abandon the babies... usually because she doesn't know what to do (is it her first litter?) or because she knows the babies are sick and will die anyway (it's instict...they let unhealthy babies die).
I dont' know that there's anything else you can do. Try not to touch the babies with your bare hands. Some hamsters will kill their young if they get human scent on them. Warm up a washcloth (in the dryer or microwave) and line the nest with it to keep them warm for a bit. Make sure it's not too hot though! Call a GOOD petstore and ask what kind of formula to try... but if mom won't care for them, their chances are very slim. Good luck!

Call the vet or a pet store. They usually can give advice and sell the stuff you need to feed them, like droppers and special formula that isn't too expensive. Good Luck. Oh yes, keep them as warm as you can because the momma would heat them with her body.

Well, you should really get a vet, if you can't put the mom in another cage. You should then get an eye dropper and feed them warm milk. Do that for about every hour. I have no other advice. Sorry.

Use an eyedropper and feed the babies KMR *it is a kitten replacement formula* diluted of course about half every two hours and you will need to stimulate the babies to potty after eating with a warm damp cloth wiped over their bottoms.

momma or poppa will eat them so get them out of the cage and call around to pet stores or vets they might be able to help but be prepared for the worse cause baby rodents are hard to keep if they have been abandoned
good luck hun

Have the female hamster and male hamster been separated? I would separate them and leave mom in a quiet environment, maybe she is stressed. You could cover the cage for a few hours or so.
As awful as it sounds, sometimes there is nothing you can do. I have heard they can/will devour their babies sometimes.

Your best bet is to get them to a vet who will know how to care for them and keep them out of momma and poppa's cage.

Mom leaves them for a reason. Sometimes you can nurse them and they are ok. But most times the inevitable happens.
