Normally my tortoise sleeps through most of the winter but lately he has gotten up every single day, I can't figure this out considering I've had him for five years!

My dog has the worst breath ever. I've taken him to the vet about it but she feels theres nothing wrong with him. I have brushed his teeth, gave him doggie mints, and milk bone dog biscuits but nothing helps. Any ideas?

but it hasn't moved since i brought it home? It's just stayed stuck to the cuttle fish. Is this normal behaviour? It's been 24hours.

ok, so i have a white, male american pit bull. He is very playful and hyper when our room mates aren't home. Well, when we have people over, he is a totally different dog. He barks and growls and then runs on top of our bed because he is scared, and never comes out. we tried closing every door so he can't hide, but then he finds a corner or something and he stays there until our company leaves. I mean, c'mon...he is afraid of me blowing bubbles with my gum. how can i get him to not be so scared of everything?

I need a good HOME REMEDY 2 KILL MICE & repell others from entering my apartment. I have a cat, so it has to be natural to not harm her & I cant afford anything you get in the store like any kind of traps.

Why is my rabbit pulling his hair out?

I know quite a bit about the feline species. However, I have never actually travelled a long distance with a cat--only dogs.

I have taken him on short rides here and there in the van, and he seems to really enjoy himself. He isn't scared at all. He is 6 months. This ride home for the holiday is a 4 hour drive.

I was thinking about not giving him any food or water after a certain time so he wouldnt "go" in the car.

Any tips?

I don't want to use wood or pine chips, because that can cause them problems, so what are my options?

I haven't bathed my outside dog in weeks because it's been cold (30 degrees F). She usually smells like the hay in her doghouse. Yesterday, though, we went to the park and she got into some fluid that smells like an open sewer. Is there a way that I can give her a dry bath? She looks kind of uncomfortable and the stinky stuff is not somewhere that she can groom herself. She is a shephard and has a short mane. Please help! She's stinkin' like Lincoln . . .

Last night we noticed our dog slide the inside of his pad (like the webbing)...it looks bad. I already have an appointment for him at the vet first thing Tuesday for a mole he needs removed. They cant get me in before that unless it is an emergency.

We cleaned it out, put neosporin on it and wrapped it up. We arent letting him run around (which is really hard, he has so much energy) and are checking it often. I checked it this morning and it looks like it has sealed its self up and looks clean. We will continue to clean it, put medication on it and keep it wrapped when he goes outside to do his business.

Do you think if we continue doing this, he will be ok until Tuesday when the vet can look at it?

I have a one year old Yellow Lab/Shar pei mix. He is alot more lab than Shar pei and acts it too. He is really hyper. I need help training him not to jump on people. Its like he gets so excited to see people. I have tried everything from poping him on the nose to stepping on his back feet, to telling him no.. Nothing seems to work. I know there must be a better solution. Any suggestions?

We have a 2 month old puppy that is half shepard and half rottweiler and we are concerned for our 4 year old boy.
I don't understand if rottweillers are inherently viscious or if is all in the way they are raised. thanks
