My Chinese water dragon seems to only want to eat meal worms. I was told by my vet that they need a variety, crickets etc. he only seems to like the meal worms. I do spray these with vitamins. He also gets a fresh fruit dish w/ greens daily. He doesn't touch it. Does anyone use any other source of protein for their dragons? Also does the time change for their need of the UV rays in the winter months? He seems to hide under the greenery alot? His heat lamp & UV are on from 5am-6pm he also has a heat pad thats on 24/7 He has a water pool and hes in a 50 BR tank. He seems happy and I take him out alot. Thankyou

My dog is pregnant and her nipples are really big and full of dirt (that won't come off) I have tried to soak her in the tub and then gently scrub her, but the dirt never comes off! Does anyone have a cleaning solution?

she has been sick since I brought her the day after turkey day, I took her to the vet twice and he was more concerned about worming her (I know an idiot) and told me to give her nose drops. Well I didn't see her getting better and her cough was awful so I took her to another vet and they did a culture to find out she' has kennel cough, so she's had this for a month now. HOw long will it last, I keep reading antibiotics don't do anything for it but he still prescribed them anyway, am I just throwing money away on meds that won't make her better anyway?

My 7 1/2 Week Old Jack Russel Puppy has been healty no problems and today he recieved his 1st shot. He played all day and ate just fine but tonight after he had been asleep for awhile he woke up and Threw up...and then he did it two more times. He got right up and started playing and even went in to the kitchen and ate some of his food...I was just wondering if the shots could make a puppy sick to there stomach or if it could be that he really is sick....?

The table he sleeps on is actually our computer table. I thought of putting the bed on the table but it won't fit. I've tried putting things on the table to discourage him from going there but he still insists on doing so. i don't want to upset my cat by changing his routine. how do i introduce his new bed?

Also, I feed him 2x per day. In the morning he gets 2 cups of dry and the evening he gets his dry and 1 can of dog food. I am substituting the can for a cup of dry. We walk an average of 1-3 miles per day, plays in the yard with my other dog & gets longer walks/hikes on the weekends. He is a stocky english lab. Thanks!

Ok I just about had a heart attack 10 minutes ok. I gave my dogs their morning treat and my 1 yr old starting chocking...I tried to remain calm, but freaked out trying to get her to open her mouth. I grabbed my keys, (I have an emergency clinic about two minutes away, but knew she'd probably die before we got there. I stood there helpless...What should I do, if this ever occurs again ?(praying it doesnt)...

I am moving in with my wonderful boyfriend. Everything is perfect - apart from one thing. I have a 17 year old cat. She is a healthy and very loving little town cat. She is not used to going outside or to being with other cats. Actually she is quite frightend when she faces changed in her life.

My boyfriend has a really great house in the countryside and he has three/four cats. They are nice cats but one is of course dominant. He used to my cat until a year ago, but he and my little female cat didn't hit it off. She is terrified of him.

How do I introduce my little female cat to these other cats? And how do I create an environment where there is room for everybody?

obviously, it's not like she can understand the sentiment of the season, but she'll be there when i give the kids gifts, and it would be nice to be able to give her something.
