I think it depends on the tank that can give them disease, but i don't think it makes a difference.

Any fish with long-flowing fins are bad to get fin rot.. especially if you have plastic plants as decorations and they rub against them and rip a fin, or even swimming along the bottom of the tank gravel can do the trick, too.. Silk plants are a better choice for fish with long fins, i.e - bettas, angelfish, etc.. and having aquarium salt or maracyn on hand to treat fin rot in case of emergency..

Fin rot is caused by stress or water quality problems for the most part. I don't believe the length of their fins effects their chances in any way.

no there not just because of the fin size doesnt mean they are prone to get fin rot

you'll find angels don't get the same disease most fish get... But that doesn't mean they're invincible. Give them a healthy aquarium to live in.

Nope. Any fish is equal in getting it because its a disease. Smaller fish may die from it faster.
