Why is my rabbit pulling his hair out?

As with both answers aready here both are correct in a sence! A female rabbit will pull out hair to line a nest with if she thinks she is pregnant, also skin problems can cause the same thing. Look at the skin and see if it is red and inflamed, are your rabbits kept outside if so they could have gotten mites. This could also cause them to pull out thier hair.

Regardless of all this info. only a vet visit is going to tell you for sure. Good luck

Is your rabbit a boy or a girl? Is there a chance that it mated recently? My rabbit did that when she was pregnant. She was lining her nest.

ARE YOU SURE IT'S A BOY??????? MY FEMALE RABBIT ALWAYZ PULLS OUT FUR WHEN SHE IS GOING TO HAVE BUNNIES. SO WHEN COME OUT OF HER THEY CAN BE WARM. IT'S NORMAL DON'T WORRY. CHECK ITS GENDER AGAIN CUZ YOU'RE WRONG. GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS WITH YOUR NEW FAMILY MEMBERS.:)

It has to do with a skin disorder. I have seen that happen quite a bit.

He might be sick or in heat. Take him to the vet.
