I need a good HOME REMEDY 2 KILL MICE & repell others from entering my apartment. I have a cat, so it has to be natural to not harm her & I cant afford anything you get in the store like any kind of traps.

Try getting a clean, empty spray bottle of some sort and fill it with water and spray the cats everytime they get near the tree. This doesnt hurt the cats but they sure dont like it. Over time they will learn to associate the christmas tree with the unpleasantness of the water. Unfortunately this will take some time on your part because you will have to catch them messing with the tree and always have that sprayer handy. When I first got my cat and it became Christmas time and I put my tree up, I would come home from work EVERY SINGLE DAY and my tree would be on the floor tipped over and all the ornaments would be scattered around the house. Although it is hilarious now when I think of it, it wasnt that funny then. It was quite frustrating. I even thought of taking the tree down. But I used the water bottle thing and in a few days she was leery and a week or so later she stopped completely. Ive had her for six years and although she will occasionally sneak over and bat an ornament to the ground, i no longer come home to a demolished tree. Good Luck and God Bless.

Instant mashed potatoes to carbonated water will kill mice, sometimes these work, sometimes not. Also heartburn medication will blow the mice stomachs when digested, and not cats! Make sure to keep the house clean and tidy of food, etc. And block any entry areas to your place, ie:air ducts, etc. with mesh so the air gets out and the mice don't get in!

you can get a 5 gallon container.Fill in 1/4 with water.Cover top of water with food something that will float like cereal or dog food.Use a yard stick to make a ramp to top of container. The mice will smell the food climb the ramp and jump in.They can not jump out because they will be swimming.Eventually they will drown. This works well to kill the mice.Keeping them out that is harder I would have thought the presence of a cat would be a good deterent.Maybe get a more agressive cat.
