My female chow is 7 and I have a male chow that is a year old. Everyday he'll start a fight with her by jumping on her back as if he's going to mount her but he'll stand on her back and growl and start biting her in on the back and on her legs. Then my Female German Shepherd would come in and bite her all in the face and then my male chow would run off while my german shepherd beats the crap out of my female chow and he does it everyday. Its as if he wants to get my female chow and female german shepherd to fight. My german shepherd is 10 and my female chow is 7 and they never fought before. My female chow is my favorite dog I feed her first pet her first I always treated her as the dominant dog and I'm not going to change that. Why can't my male chow accept that? Why does my two dogs jump on her? I wish my German shepherd would stay out of it because my female chow can fight my male chow if it was one on one.She has before and she won to. but how can she with two thats not fair to me.

Ok, so I posted a question this morning about my dog being lovesick. Now, I am worried. Could she be in heat? I have not spayed her because I got her very recently and was waiting for the Christmas break to do it. I saw a drop of blood on the couch two days ago but I had been cutting her nails. I thought it was from that but I couldn't find a bloody nail. She has been rather strange over the last few days, whining more than usual. She had several accidents in the house which is not normal for her. The vet told me that she was about a year old (she is a rescued chi). What could be wrong? Please don't judge me. My intention is to get her spayed!

He spent his first night outdoors. That was 2 days ago. He ate when he first came home, but today his appetite is going down and he's throwing up all over the house both food and clear stuff. he also has a sore on his head where the fur is thinning.

Hi, I'm ready to take my cat to the vet, but wanted to see if someone out there had advice. 3 toes on my cat's back foot have black-ish "cuticles." It's the area between the hard part of the nail and the toe, like the cuticle on humans.

It doesn't seem to hurt him, but it's not like his other happy healthy toes which are white. I think it has only occurred in the last month or so.

I've lived i this apartment for 16 years and the prior management company said that if i owned the dog for at least 3 years then i can keep him. Now this new management spontaneously informs me that i have to remove my dog within 7 days. My dog had all his immunizations and all of his tags are up to date. So are they legally allowed to do this? And what can i do to stop them?

I have in my possesion a medium-sized and rather bad tempered swan.
I require its presence at a drinks party in Dorset on Saturday, which is about 120 miles from my home.

hi i have a 55 gallon tank with 6, 1 - 1.5" assoted african cichlids. (i don't know what kind they are but i know what colors they are) colors - blue, eletric yellow, orange, tiger striped one, green with black stripes, and a albino cichlid. i was wondering how big do they need to be to mate? or how many more days until they'll mate? of my 6 cichlids i think 4 of them are the same species, and the other two aren't.since they're diferent colors they can still breed right? and can my other 2 different cichlids breed with my other 4 mbunas?

Sometime between last night and this morning, my daughter's hamster got away. He is kept in a cage in the livingroom but he is no where to be found in that room. We have looked in the dining room and kitchen but he is not there either. Does anyone have any clue where this stupid thing may be? I am very worried because I have 3 cats and 3 dogs and a litter of 6 puppies. I do not want to have a dead hamster on my hands!

I have a black cat and it is only 1year and 11months old. My mom won't let me get a christmas tree becuase she says that the cat will rip up everything and that all the glass toys are going to break! The only reason she believes this is because he rips up the new rug in the living room and he likes climing everywere and i can't get him to stop. By the way I can't use water bacuse my cat likes bathing in water so spraying him won't help. Also, my caat doesn't mind nioses, so rattles and things like that won't get him to stop.
Is there any other way to get him to not break the toys on the tree? and how to make him stop climing on tables and cabnits? SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!
