I only have one mouse.
and no other pets in the house

He could have it caught on the bars, or is he living on wired floors?
Maybe he's chewing it?
Or scratching the bottom of his cage a lot?
Not sure, I'd at least call a exotic pet vet, just to see what they have to say

are there "any other" living things at your house? snakes? or two mice living 2gether? if 2 mice are living 2gether, they might've fought big time. it's ok. my hamsters fight a lot, they both lost a toe, so i had to seperate them in the end

maybe it got caught in a mouse trap.

AHHH!!! TAKE HIM TO A VET!!! NOW!!!
No answer on Yahoo is gonna give you ANYTHING to help your little mouse as much as a vet can!! He OBVIOUSLY is hurting and in pain and needs medical attention!!
Please please take him right now!! :( :( :(

sounds like he got into something, caught in something and pulled out and hurt himself, better take him to a small animal vet.
