My dog was vaccinated for parvo and then 3 days later at 9 weeks old he tested positive for parvo. He was very sick so we took him to MSU and he tested negative for parvo twice. Could he still have parvo, because they still seem to think it was. Unfortunately we lost the little guy and now I am looking for answers.

It's soft and squishy, and it doesn't get any bigger or smaller. It doesn't seem to bother her much and she eats and plays just fine. What could it be? Is it just a odd growth that I shouldn't worry about?

Even if our cat Burrito has food in her bowl - plenty of food - she will bug us in the morning until we get up and go over to the food bowl. If there's food in the bowl, she's just content that we look at it with her. If we shut the bedroom door she meows and scratches, and ultimately poops in the shower to punish us. Is there any hope for us to be able to sleep in late on the weekends without the cat walking all over us and putting her butt on our heads until we get up? Seriously - butt on the head. She thinks "get out!" and "stop!" mean "keep sitting on my head!" It doesn't. Your thought appreciated!

my dog broker her tooth or teeth (canine upper and lower on right jaw) last week. I took her to the emergency room because she was drooling and vomiting. My husband and i thought it was her upper right canine tooth the entire time for some reason and when we took her to the regular vet the next day he also said it was her upper tooth and wrote it one the paperwork. I took her to get it worked on today. Before they put her under they called me to tell me that they thought that she would not need a root canal and that they would just do a filling. The entire time i thought they were talking about the upper canine. Well, i went to pick her up and the vet had given her a root canal for her LOWER canine and filed it down with a filling (looks weird). We were shocked because her upper canine is completely broken off and nothing was even done to that one. Now the vet wants to do the other one tomorrow . Is it good to put a dog "under" two days in a row? My dog is 15 month old chocolate lab

My 10 week old Kitten pooed out a little amount of blood for the first time. IT seems that he was straining to get that last itty bitty peice of sh!it with blood on it out.

He is an indoor cat, we have no other pets, his deit is healthy. I do give him minerals and vitimans and Sometimes I give him shrimp.

He has all of his shots and is neutred.

Is this a major thing? Should I be worried?
Should I wait to see if it happens again?
Whats wrong with him?

I feed my cat Friskies rite now, but he's getting older and i'm worried that Friskies won't give him the nutrients he needs. I've been feeding my new kitten Iams (what his old owner fed him) and he's VERY healthy and happy. I'm thinking of a switch. Should I? Are there any other brands that are better? Why is Iams better than Friskies?

THANX!!!

We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and we are not sure which one is peeing on our carpet. We are hoping someone can tell us a means to determine if it is a cat pee OR dog pee. Does it smell or look (i.e. stain) different? Are there test kits to determine this?

Second part to the question: Does anyone have any other ideas for how to identify which specific animal is peeing on the carpet? We've had all 4 of these animals for years and have no reason to suspect one of them over another. I've thought of video taping for long periods of time to catch the culprit, but video tapes don't run for more than a few hours and the pee only happens every few days at most, so this would be a difficult method.

Any and all intelligent solutions would be greatly appreciated!

The male looks like he digs her, but the chic totally rejects his advances. Sometimes, the female is even hostile towards him. Could she be going through PMS? I want them to be happy together and eventually breed. Is there anything that I could put in the food to get her into the "mood"?

I have 4 cats. 1 is obviously the alpha. Another of my cats never behaves until the alpha female comes in. Then it's like a child whose Mom walks in. She stops whatever she's doing and doesn't get into anything else. It's weird. I've never seen them in a fight, the older cat just has this effect on her. What do you think?

I am going to be applying to vet school in the fall and one of my concerns for picking a school is the board prices for my horse. Right now I am paying $330, and I know in the east it is $1000 or more,
Anyone have a clue about Kansas prices?
