organic and organic habit. Wild canines circle to pat down grass or %. snow away to make a cushty spot. this would genetically be something that kin canines carry that from. it may desire to be a organic and organic mannerism to them. particularly some human beings shift around in mattress and fluff their pillows to settle good right into a cushty sound asleep place, its an identical element. The canines is sniffing out its convenience spot.

I read that it comes from wolves. When wolves used to sleep, you know, outside, they used to have to walk around in cirlcles in order to crush any uncomfortable twigs and such in order to make the place that they were about to lay more comfortable. I guess that that trait just didn't leave.

that is a primal move.
wild dogs and other animals instinctly "matt down" the tall grass to sleep on it.
Notice large wild cats sometimes will do it as well.
