Go and tell your mommy to get your doggie woggie fixed. If the mother is not taking care of them tell your mommy to call the vet.

Yes. And not just the "butt". You need to feed the puppy every few hrs, and if you can't feed it mothers milk, feed it "Just Born" for puppies or "Esbillac" for puppies, available in pet stores. These are best after mothers milk. If you can't afford that, you can make a formula with 1 can of evaporated milk to two cans water, two egg yolks, discard the whites, pinch of salt, two teaspoons Karo syrup. If there is a way you can hold the mother down and help the puppy to latch onto her and nurse that would be best.
I don't recommend this formula if you can get the other which is better balanced, but it will work in a pinch.
Each time after you feed the puppies you need to take a soft dampened cloth, warm or tepid water, and massage the puppy first where it pees and then where it would poop. This simulates the mother licking the puppy because the puppy might otherwise not go to the bathroom and could get sick.
Then you want to be sure the puppy is warm but not too warm. I used a heating pad on low which was covered well with a blanket and a towel. Don't get it too hot and don't arrange it so the puppy can get under the blanket and directly on the heating pad.

YES- you need to for usually the first couple weeks. Use a warm soft wash cloth and rub then at least 4 times a day, possibly more at this point. I have not worked with such young puppies. At this point, make sure you are feeding them every 1-2 hours, and try to get the mom to nurse them, even if you have to hold her head down and let them drink. The colostrum is very important and the more actual dog milk they can get, the better. If this is not an option, there are dog specific milk mixtures that you can buy, as well as little nipples and bottles. You may need to syringe feed if they do not have the suckling motion down yet.
Good luck, and it will be a lot of hard work.

If The Moma Dog is Eating the Pups Something is wrong with them..Its Natures Way!..The Puppy Really Needs that First milk from its Mom for the first week or so..It has alot of Special Vitiams and stuff that keep the Puppy from getting Diseases...The Mom Generly Licks the Puppys Bottom and Genitials to make it Pee and Poop..You can do this with a Damp Washcloth or Paper Towel...The Water Stimulates them to Urinate and have a Bowel movement .Like the Momas Tongue Should be doing..The Mom Generly Eats that....Good Luck

OK. You need to get formula from the vet and bottle feed the puppy. He will eat about every two hours. He will not cry and warn you he is hungry. You have to keep track. Do not squeeze the bottle. Have the vet fix the nipple of bottle for you. If you force milk down the pups throat it will go into his lungs and drown him.

You also need to keep pup warm. Check with vet, but we had a heating pad set on medium and our pups slept on it (with a towel between the pad and the pup, the direct heat will hurt it).

And yes, you need to take a warm damp cloth to rub his privates with. So he can pee and poo. The damp, warm cloth signals the pup to go.

He needs a lot of attention. Keep it in a box - do not put a lid on it or it will not get air.
Your local vet should be able to tell you everything there is to know. You do not have to make an appointment. They can tell you over the phone.

Our mom (of the pup) did not want anything to do with hers. May I suggest that you hold the pup up to the mothers nipples so the pup can latch on and drink milk. You can start by holding the mom in your lap and putting the puppy close to her; then lay it on or near moms side and then hold pup to nipple.

OURS DID NOT LIKE IT> IT TOOK HER ABOUT 4 DAYS TO CATCH ON. after that she was a great mom.

I hope everything turns out well. Let us know!

Neonates under 2-3 weeks of age usually do not spontaneously eliminate on their own. (Some do, but this is not enough to prevent possible stasis which can lead to infection). To help your newborn, use either a cotton ball or Kleenex moistened with warm water. Gently stroke the genital/anal area before and after feedings. If the animal does not go at this time, try again within an hour.

You poor little thing! Poor little puppies. Take a SOFT wash cloth with warm, not hot, warm water and gently rub their bottoms till they go poop. Then wipe and repeat on any of the living pups. You will need to get some Tigers milk for puppies so they can eat, as they will die if not fed. They will need to be fed about every 2 hours and given the tigers milk for puppies, and cared for gently. This is a huge responsibility for a little one to take on. I hope you can help save them. Good luck my dear!

You need to call the Vet. Humane society or local Pet shop.
You take a warm/wet washcloth and really act lick the mommy dog and "lick" they puppies bottom with the washcloth.

You need to get some special puppy liquid or baby food and feed that puppy every two hours or so.

Good luck to both you and the puppy.

If you take it from the Momma dog, you can never giveit back! SO don't even try.

while uncommon ...its not unheard of for some female dogs to eat their young.....but to your question.....you must understand it is going to be VERY HARD to keep this pup alive...but not impossible....
the best way to make them poop/pee is to use a warm soft wash rag and rub it on their privates...use it in a front to back motion...kinda like the mom would lick them...
also have your mom go to a pet store and buy newborn puppie milk.....and small bottles...someone at the pet store should be able to help ya get what you need.....
please don't get too attached to the puppie just yet because its chances are not good at surviving....don't mean to sound cruel...its just the truth.....but don't give up...cause it can be done.....
good luck to ya......and the puppie

The remaining pups are destined to death because mom doesn't want them. There are plenty of pups that survive just fine with out mom. Use a wet cotton ball, preferably warm water to rub there little area if they don't go on 45 secs, stop and try again later.

yes you must rub gently on their anal area several times a day, i used to do it every time they ate, the licking from the mothers tongue is what stimulates that process, it has to be done, keep the puppy warm and feed it every 2 to 3 hours (bitches milk)
