My 4 1/2 mo. old Newfie/Bernie puppy has bumps that look like zits on her back and also dandruff. They don't look like they have anything in them, no whiteheads, no ticks and she doesn't have fleas. The biggest of the bumps are about half the size of a dime, most of them being small. I would say that there are about 6-8 bumps, mostly clustered in one area. I always make sure that I rinse her thoroughly when I give her a bath. I live in Alaska and it has been cold here lately (in the single digits). I would appreciate any helpfull answers, thank you.

He seems to be convinced they are mast cell tumours. He started off with one incision to remove the major one then found several secondary tumours. She has two incisions on her neck, one being about 4" and the other about 11" so he has had a good look and removed all that he can see. Please can someone tell me, honestly, how long I have left with her? She is a three year old Weimaraner.

I can't stop sobbing. She was pregnant and starving when I found her 9 years ago. She let me witness the birth of her 4 beautiful kittens a day later. She let me watch in amazement at what good mothering skills are all about. She let me take her kittens from her so they could grow up in loving homes. And ever since, she's been the sweetest companion I ever did know. When she got sick a year ago, she swallow a pill for me twice a day with no fuss. Every night she'd follow me up the stairs, jump up on my bed, and curl up in a little ball near my feet. When she could no longer walk, she let me pick her up and she'd purr softly as I carried her up the stairs and put her in my bed so she could continue to sleep by my feet. And even knowing I did a good thing...knowing I gave her peace--an end to her suffering...it still hurts sooooo bad. Help me please. When does it stop hurting?

I have two sweet dogs that play together constantly. The male is a 5 y/o Chihuahua / Dachshund mix and the female is a 2 y/o Heinz 57 mutt with some Jack Russell, Dachshund, and Beagle in her. Both dogs have great temperaments and get alone well. The Mutt just had a litter of five pups a couple of days ago, of course she is protective but the male doesn’t understand why he can’t play with her. Yes he is the papa and it was planned. He has been mopping around the house for the last two days. He is a very gentle dog he played with her when she was a little pup so we are not worried at all that he will harm the puppies. How and when is the best time to let him get near her again ? Should we just wait and let her decide when is best or take him with us in the room to see the puppies until she gets used to him being around them ?

My chihuahua has been having rice sized brownish spotting when she pees. She was breed with another smaller Chi 2 wks ago and is out of the normal bleeding/bleeding stage. She has no temp., very happy, and not sick. Has anyone experienced this and the dog is pregnant. Thought it may be implantation. PLEASE----do not respond if you have an ethical problem with breeding dogs, they are vet checked.

Someone hit my male cat who lives outside about 2 weeks ago. He had just enough strength to come and die in his own yard. I am deeply saddened by this. I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. I know I will never fully get over it but what are some good ways to handle it better?

I have a seven year old cat that has had diarrhea for about 2 weeks now. Nothing I have tried has gotten her to clear up. I can't take her to the vet as I am out of work and therefore have no money to pay the vet. Is there anything I can try at home to clear this up. There have been no changes in diet.
