Yes,.. do not inject your dog with feces.
As for human food,.. maybe,.. but likely not. I have known dogs that drink Beer every day.
There is a Domestic Cat that's over 35 years old that eats those Cheese Balls that people dip chips into.
Do not give your dog Chocolate or Caffine though. Those kill dogs. Also do not give them human medications,.. or over the counter human drugs.
