My 17 wk old american bulldog just drank the water out of the christmas tree holder. I wouldn't be worried but, my husband added the packet of white powder. What do you think I should do?

I have a 4 year old male the has some heradatery issues that I can not afford to have him treated. He is beautiful and wonderful with children and loving with everyone. My husband and I do not want to give him up because he is such a great dog but we just can not afford his treatments anymore. Please, help me find him, Boudreaux, a better home! If we kept him our only choice would be to put him to sleep....

I took my little feline girl to the vet yesterday for a check-up. She cried all the way in the car (as she always does) and it was hard to go through with it because it breaks my heart to hear her cry like that. Then, when we got to the surgery and were waiting at reception, a man came in with a big dog. The dog was good-natured but was intrigued by my cat and kept staring into her basket. She was getting really scared but i didn't take her away as I didn't want to seem over-protective. She hissed at him and he went away but then he came back and she suddeny lashed out at him through the bars of her basket. She is usually a very sweet cat and never hisses, i've never seen her like that before. I then put her basket on my lap but the dog had really scared her and when she went in to see the vet she wouldn't come out of the basket; he had to turn it upside down and pull her out. She was terrified. I feel i let her down. Should I have moved her away from the dog earlier?

My puppy, who is about 12 weeks old, will not eat canned, hard, soft, or somewhere in between dog food- nor wll he eat hard food softened with water. What he WILL eat like a mad dog is Cat Food. I'm talking generic, hard as hell, star shaped cat food. We don't mind feeding him this. Our cat loves it and it's cheap. But is it safe? Is there something else we should try? Maybe kitten food? lol.

Boomer graduated at the top of his puppy obedience class, than again at the top of his adult obedience class. He was with my nephew then, I got him when he was 15 months old. When he is contained, or on a leash, you can't ask for a better dog, but when he is running free on my 10 acres, he won't come to me. He use to get in my truck, but now he won't do that, what am I to do???

i have a 4 years old bearded dragon, who doesn't eat on her own. i don't know why, and the vet doesn't know why. the vet has told me to keep doing what i have been doing for the past year. which is feeding her every night, by sliding a syringe into the side of her mouth and squirting food onto her tongue, and allowing her to swallow it on her own. the vet says that she should have 7-12 ccs of food a day. for awhile i was just feeding her baby food, because it was the easiest to feed through a syringe. but i have started sliding bugs and bearded dragon pellets into her mouth, and she eats that just as well.i am having a hard time, though, of figuring out the equivalent of 10 ccs of food. tonight i gave her 7 ccs of baby food, 6 bearded dragon pellets (each 1/4 of an inch), and 8 smaaall mealworms. is this too much food? or too little? or right on target?
your help is greatly appreciated!!

I mean if I caught some, and brought them in, would they have a chance at life, or would they be euthanized? What if it were a female cat that was already pregnant or in heat? If it happened to scratch someone, would they put it to sleep? I don't have time to contact the humane society, because I work all day, and it is closed by the time I get home.b but if anyone knows the answer(perhaps someone who works for the Humane Society (especially the one in South Florida, I would appreciate your help. I care about these cats, and I want to help them.

HE WILL GO TO THE BATHROOM OUTSIDE, NO PROBLEM MOST OF THE TIME. THEN THERE ARE DAYS WHERE WE WILL TAKE HIM OUTSIDE AND HE WILL DO NOTHING, AND THEN NOT EVEN FIVE MINUTES AFTER COMING BACK IN, HE WILL USE THE BATHROOM ON THE CARPET. HE HAS BEEN DOING THIS WAY TOO OFTEN OF LATE AND IT IS GETTING OLD. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? WHEN HE DOES GO TO THE BATHROOM IN SIDE WE PUT HIM IN HIS KENNEL FOR A WHILE AND THEN LET HIM BACK OUT. SOMETIMES WHEN WE LEAVE WE WILL PUT HIM IN HIS KENNEL AND NOT EVEN BE GONE FOR A LONG TIME AND WHEN WE GET BACK HE HAS TAKEN CARE OF HIS BUSINESS IN THE KENNEL, AND WE TOOK HIM OUT BEFORE WE LEFT. WHAT ARE WE DOING WRONG? ANY ADVICE?

My cat has frequently gotten in the pattern of peeing to the side of her litter box or around it. This always seems to happen when I feed her cheap wet food from the grocery store. In the past, the vet tested her and she was negative for UTI, but suggested it was behavioral and I used aluminum foil around the box to divert her- instead, she found a different spot! How can I tell if she has a UTI instead of a behavioral issue again? I have since moved to a new location from her past behavioral issue and she didn't pee outside the box for 4 months. Now she is again and I am frustrated! HELP

I had only been gone 2 days camping with my family and when I got back I saw my leopard geckos tail was black.
She was barely moving and not eating so I was hand feeding her chicken baby food because thats what the vet told my friend to do when her leopard gecko wasnt eating. So the next day she was dead....anyone know what happened???

I would like a dog that is a Yorkie Chihuahua mix, with longish hair. I don't think it'll be easy to find, because it's not a purebreed and I won't know if that's what i got if i adopted one from a shelter. Anyone know how I could go about getting this particular dog for around $100?
