Adult bearded dragons bowel movements depend on how much/how often and the kind of food being fed and the temperature inside the tank. If the tank is too cold and the dragon is dark brown and not properly heated, it will not digest food properly. If it is eating the wrong diet, like 100% super worms, it will not be so often either. If you think the dragon is impacted, one of the easiest, cheapest things to do, is to, raise the tank temperature to 90 and let it sit in a bowl of water. Hopefully you are using a good substrate also. Calcium sand is one good option. Another is reptile bedding that is green pellets but they are dusty. Don't use gravel and other items that can be easily ingested. If you are feeding bearded dragon pellets, veggies and insects, then the dragon should be giving you messes about every 2-4 days. Always make sure they have a nice sized dish of water to play in. They like to play or bask in the water. Lastly, the dragon should never feel rock hard solid underneath unless you have a male and female and she has eggs but they lay them rapidly so the dragon will not even then be rock hard solid. Whenever in doubt, always consult a Herp vet.

mine poops almost every day play sand is better than calci sand they lick the calcium out of the sand and then become impacted best to dust the crickets with calcuim powder. they should be eating more fruits and veggies than insects if they are adult it should be 20% bugs 80% veg/fruit spray with water daily so they dont dehydrate as most dragons dont drink from bowls of standing water
