its just a treat for her. she hates her normal dry food, so i try to make it tastier for her. i used to mix it wet kitten food. but she was rescued from the streets. so the vet is giving me a really expensive dry kitten food. and so is the wet one. can i serve her shredded boiled fish with the dry kitten food? is it bad for her?

I am making a chocolate milk drink, and it says to add 1/3 of a cup of the powder, except, I only have a half cup measuring thing, and a fourth of a cup measuring thing. So, please help!

3 dogs, 1 cat, german shepard- pure bred, collie mix, mixed breed with two coats, one soft, close to skin, the other longer kinda wirery. the hair is driving me nuts. i can sweep in the morning and by night fall get another pile. they are healthy.

We are getting ready to move and we can take our cat with us but we would have to pay an extra fee each month which we want afford. We already signed our lease and now we have to find a place for our cat which I really dont want to do. We want to give him to a family but if we cant is there any other options other than a shelter? I DO NOT want to do that so I need some ideas.

Well, I just brought home my new girl kitten who is only 6 weeks. My old cat is soooo mad. He is hissing, and growling..etc. The lil girl has her own room with all her essentials. I am just wondering how to get them introduced correctly. I still make sure that my old cat gets all his attention. I got the kitten so My oreo won't be alone. They smell and everything. How long will it take? What did you all do?

i have two cockatiels. i have wrote before about them and decided to get my cockatiels wings clipped . my husband does not want to get his done until he has seen if honey does ok ,as he thinks its not right. i want to know what i can do to try and tame honey. i put my hand in her cage and she hits the bottem of the cage pacing. how can i get her out of the cage when i have her wings clipped with out hurting her (we think she is a her) and when she comes out of her cage do i try to get her to sit on my finger or do i just leave her. i have only had honey a few days i do have cheeko who lives in a cage next to honey as we did have them in a cage together but they fight. cheeko is a hard bird as soon as we put are hand in his cage he goes mad so my husband has backed off but until cheeko goes to the hand how can we let him out as how do we get him back in. i have never had birds before so all this is new to me

my dog was fenced in and the other dog jumped my fence. I found him in my yard a total of 3 times. He was left out roaming the for 5 days in a row.Animal control was ntified and a complaint was filed on the 3rd occasion when we finally figured out where he lived. I would also like to know my options to preserve the breeding rights of my precious Gretchen who is only 3years old this October and was planned to have been bred for the 1st time in her next heat.

I know that this has been on here before, but I have to raise the question again to see some different answers. It's not that I'm against cross-breeding, etc. - I've owned both shelter dogs/mixes and pedigrees, and I think that either can be the best companions. I feel that genetically engineered dogs with "designer" names are a scam to get more money for "mutts." I have a Pit Bull/Schnauzer mix... could I breed her with another and call her a Schnitt Bull, or perhaps a Bull Schnitt, and push for the AKC to register the breed to make money?

No flames please... just my opinion. How do you all feel about it?

Traveling to CA on air next week and my vet prescribed her .25 mg acepromazine. Researching air travel w/ sedated pets say it is dangerous and i'm concerned. I have a 2 yr old german shepherd who is about 63 lbs and becomes anxious in unfamiliar situations even when i am with her. At the vet office she was cowering. The vet said the meds will take the edge off, but I'm scared. The flight is about 4-5 hours long and i am going roundtrip. please help!

have african cichlids. one hasnt eaten in 4 days now. Some of them like to move rocks and it almost looks like its got a mouth full of rocks but i really dont think anything is in its mouth. It WONT open its mouth for anything and is displaying very vivid colors and is being extra territorial. Whats wrong with my fish?

i want a golden retriever my sister wants a sheltie and my dad just wants a big dog in general. i have a small dog that weighs about 14 pounds, i accidently left 1/4 cup of hot chocoolate on the table, the hot chocolate had pieces of chocolate chunks flotting around. i left the room for a second and when i came back the dog had accidently drank the the rest of what was in the cup.
