especially Asia that i recognize of yet i might say whereever there's a nutrition shortage they are going to be eaten. it rather is the two consume them or starve to dying... harsh determination yet human beings do flow via it. If we would consume different human beings for survival, or exciting in some terrible situations (like the german who marketed if anyone needed to be eaten to touch him and have been given jailed). Cats and canines are a miles less worse determination

I am from Cuba and they do eat cats in my country, not as a delicacy or anything like that but because of hunger, many people dont know the situation of my country, and will be quick to judge, but let me tell you, not every body eats cat, the thing is that when you eat cats you can get leukemia very easily yet many Cubans eat it because there just isn't anything else to eat some times. I have never tried it, nor am i planing to, i had the fortune of coming to this country and i love it here, but i digress, the point is,dont stereotype, just because some people do one thing it doesn't mean that everybody else is the same.

I don't know, but who are we to judge what another culture eats? That is their culture. We eat things in the US that other cultures don't eat and vice-versa. I am a cat owner of 2, and although I would never knowingly eat a cat, I respect what every culture does. Foods like rats, guinea pigs, dogs, elephants, horses, kangaroos, cats, monkeys, and a long list of other animals are eaten and often considered as delicacies in other countries.

Personally, I think unless you are a vegan, you have no right to judge.

China is well known for it, that and the fact that walking along their shores and rivers you find the bloated bodies of the throw away baby girls who have been tossed away by their parents.

Yet this is merely an expression of a deeper problem. A failure to recognize the beauty and the value of ALL life leads one down a path which is dark indeed. The more crimes you commit, whether against animals, yourself, other people, nature,...etc. the more violence you commit against your soul or your spirit.

Yes, cats are very intelligent animals and barring the ones who have "issues" are usually most conveniently self-maintaining. Most think that cats are good pets because they take care of themselves mostly but the opposite is true.

A cat generally operates on its "own time" and appears before you at its will and pleasure rather than coming when you call. If you want to fetch or anything of that nature get yourself a golden retriever they're great for that.

But a cat, half in and half out as they say is beneficial is reminding you of our dual, as opposed to split natures. The cat knows instinctively when to retreat and go inward about its own business. And no matter how tamed they may become, they are still hunters adept, always and forever. Not true with a dog always. Depends on the mix or the breed.

Yet when the cat is ready to "hang out" there you will find a true and loyal friend, if a somewhat opinionated one. I laugh when people laugh at me for professing to have not one but several "guard cats". Don't kid yourself folks, they are just as alert and ready to pounce on an intruder as a dog they just get alert you to danger a bit faster.

Yet cats are not the only one who are caught, torturerd and eaten. Dogs are too as well as many, many other animals. The world is a sick and dangerous place when you view it in those terms.

These defilers of life are given over to chaos and I assure you can never know true peace or companionship. Their purpose and energy are seperated from the other by the power(s) that be as not only a punishment but as a means of eventually causing that person to cease doing anything at all, not merely just to stop hunting and torturing animals.

Yes, I do apologize for my rant but my meditations this morning took me to an unusal place and allowed me to see much of the issues you have described.

To love, nurture and provide for the well-being of an animal is to do that for one's self. Failing to recognize this, man is constantly cut off from many of the spiritual blessing that could be his. Nature rewards those who are the protectors and nourishers of life and it punishes those who seek to destryoy or brutalize it.

Well, China and Japan eat well our house pets. They are heartless animal haters I show lots of hatred to those who eat the cats and dogs. I mean you go pick out a live animal in a cage and you get to watch them saw it up how gross and heartless it that crap going on over there with those poor unfortunate animals that are going to become so heartless persons meal??!! I wish i could stop this. I've thinking about what i could do for a while I've planned but I couldn't do any of these dumb ideas Ive planned I really love animals and i don't think the animals should be treated like that they are poor, helpless, Innocent souls that don't deserve their fate. When you see a kitten what do you think: AWWW he's so cute how cute is he when he gets chopped up in one million pieces? Sad, SAD, How could they do this to these unfortunate souls?
