all of the dogs i have had are mutts. my mom did have a pure bred afgan hound when i was born, but thats only because she was the black one in the litter and her sister took it and then couldnt keep up with her.
since then i've had a belgium shephard/something mix (she died 3 years ago - age 16); a springer spaniel/ lab (she's 15 now); and my most recient addition is a australian shephard / something mix (5months)

We have a Australian Shepard puppy who just turned 8 months old this month. She is super smart and a great joy. The only problem is she is doing what comes naturally, herding. We are trying to break her of doing this. Anyone have any suggestions ?

We have an Australian cattle dog named Bonanza Jellybean. She thinks she a rough and tough cowgirl but she’s really just a rough and tough coco-puff. We call her Beanie for short.
