We bought him as a 2 year old and he never growled at me. He started out by growling at my husband only when he would go to hug his neck and now after 8 months he growled at me the other day when I hugged him. He had never growled at me for that. Now it's worse with my husband, he is even growling at him when he reaches across the fence to pet him. He acts worse when my husband has had a couple of beers. If anyone knows a solution please help. We love this dog so much.

I don't intend using either on the kitchen floor where the puppy will be. I am going to try the bell method on the back door with plenty of toilet visits to the garden. Will putting a toilet area in her crate be encouraging the puppy to eliminate there. I want to do the right thing when we get her. Any advise would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I have two female sisters (which the vet sexed) that both as far as i know give birth within an hour of each other. In total there were a litter of 13 kits. 5 of the kits died but as they were all in the same nest i dont know who lost there young. I have noticed one of the does mounting the other since the young died. Could this be that she isnt a doe at all? or is this possibly to do with the loss of the kits. By the way, the dad was a netherland dwarf, all kits identical to dad so its impossible any one of the does ? could be the dad. Is she just fretting?

I recently moved and all the sudden my indoor cat has been getting scabs on her back and head. I've checked her for fleas and she doesn't have them. I really worried about her especially sinceshe seems to be getting them more frequently and they seem to be getting worse. I can't really afford to go to a vet and I need to know what's wrong with her.

i have looked on ebay, online stores, local tack shops, and i cant find one. i am moving to a really cold place with my horse and need something that will keep him really warm because he is use to florida. it needs to be an exteme climate one (with maching boots and full hood), not just any regular one.
i know that you can put flece coolers under their regular blankets to make them warmer, but i dont think thats enough.
if anyone can help i would be very grateful.
thanks

I have a 3 year old jack russel who is in excellent shape health wise. I have had this dog for about 1 year and i have noticed when he smells something on the ground he stops and rolls on it. also i had him outside one day and wasnt watching him very close and i noticed he was rolling on something so i went over to observe and he was rolling on his back on a dead bird then he would get up and smell and to it again, he also does this with his play toys sometimes...anyone have any answers to why he may do this?

We clean the spots as soon as we find them but it doesn't seem to be enough. Do black lights really work to find the spots and are there any cleaning supplies that will get the smell out??

OK, I want to breed my 2 year old Puggle (Lila) with my 5 year old Great Dane (Henry). I also want to breed my 1 year old Yorkipoo (Jessica) with my beautiful chocolate Labrador (Ziggy) who is 9 months old. I really want to do it because it will be fun and I am 24 with a 7 year old daughter (Katya) so I think it will be fun for her to watch my babies (Lila and Jessica) give birth.
I have never bred things before (except my pet mice when I was 9) but that was by accident - I didn't know girl mice could have babies until 4 years old.
How do I go about breeding my Yorkipoo (1 yr) with my Lab (9 mths) and my Great Dane (5 yr) and my Puggle (2 yr)?
I need TIPS, ADVICE (pref. good but will listen to all) and HELP (LOTS OF HELP PLEASE!).

I want to create two new breeds of dogs. I think it could be fun picking names.
Puggle (Pug x Beagle) x Great Dane = Great Duggle OR Gupple Puggie.
Yorkipoo (Poodle x Yorki) x Labrador = Yorkipoo Retriever OR Yorkipooador.
How much do I sell pups 4

I need help with my 9-month old black lab. She is CRAZY!!!!! Whenever she sees someone she jumps on them, and it is reallly disturbing. we can't have visitors because she won't leave them alone!!! she would be all the time smelling them or jumping into their laps (she's pretty heavy), so what can I do about this? How can I train her to just be with us calmly? Do you think putting her in a crate when visitors come will help?

We were giving him rice, chicken, & cottage cheese for a few weeks when we first got him for loose poops. He is now 14 wks. . I've given him a Tbls. or two every once in a while now in his bowl next to his Royal Canin..It's the first thing he goes for in his bowl. We were wondering if it's healthy for him to have it daily or a few times a week.
