She doesn't seem to be bothered by it. I would say it's about the size of a dime. I don't see any fluid coming from it. Any thoughts on what this may be would be appreciated.

for about four years , i have been wanting a ferret. I love animals and this certain kind just can't get off my mind. I have other pets that I take really good care of and they approve of those but i just cant seem to convinse them to let me get one. I have been around them several times before so i know what they are like and i have read 2 books about them. Does anybody know of a foster sing up for ferrets?

we,ve had him for 7yrs assume he was at least 3-5 when we got him.I know some may bash this?? and me for asking here @YA but i need someones opinion til i can get money next week to take to vet reguarding what they suggest I know they will say "Put Him Down".I do think it may be that time.So sad though this dog was abused terribly Law Enforcement(here in U.S southern state)Wouldn,t do Anything about it.so i took him from the idiot myself!I don,t have much money then or now.I treated him for wounds but he was never x,rayed.He has been to the vet once,but that was it .I continued wound care, kept up with shots, worming and flea/tick treatmentsLOTS of love & exercise.But now for past 2 wks He is Lame in his hips,front leg.he can hardly get up/go outside(poop) What i want to know is :IF I Have To Put him down myself B4 I can get him to vet what dosage of Morphine/Valuim will put him down @home.He is terrifiede of car ride.I DONT WANT TO DO THIS!But in emergency I NEED to KNOW cuz I LUV him

I've seen many pet owners dye their dogs hair ( like poodles )
for the holidays- Green and red!
Do they use chemical dyes? is that safe?
Or like a food coloring dye?
Does a Groomer do it?

when I am changing the litter box my cat sticks his paw in as I'm pouring the new litter in and arranges it the way he wants it. Then as soon as I put away the bag of litter, he gets in and craps.

OOOHHHH it drives me crazy. Can't we EVER have a clean litter box? ha ha ha

I took my dog to a new vet, and after visiting with him i feel that he nolonger is able to fulfill his responsibilities of his job. The vet was new to me. He is an old man, working in a so called ER, he works with alone @ night. I took my dog to him after she was attacked my 2 pits, she was loosing a lot of blood. i tok her in and ret her on a table, he let her bleed out for over 30 min before even looking at her. I showed him cash, but he did not do anything. I filled out all the paper work, so he would work on her. He didnt do anything untill i got in is face and told him if he didnt start doing something he wouldint like what i was going to do to him. I would have never got like that if he would have started his job as soon as i set her on the table. my dog even jumped off the table while i was filling out the paperwork, because no one was with her. she had lost a lot of blood, and it was just running out, and he didnt do any thing, and i had money. now she is at another vet

I recently bought an albino oscar for my tank, I also bought another couloured one last week, this one is about the size of the tail on the first one i bought, now i was told that they would be fine together but my albino has started to attack him so i has to put them in seporate tanks, How long does it take for them to grow so i can put him back in the other tank?

My male cat (one year old) Chicago just attacks me for no reason sometimes! I love this cat he is very lovable, but if i am walking by or even sitting he will attack me by biting me. He seemed to start it once I moved in with my boyfriend. (Before that I was still always around and slept over too) I have told him no, walked away and I have even used a squirt bottle. The only thing that seems to work (for a short time) is a time out in the bathroom. Can some one please help me?

ok so my dog is 9 months old. She was in heat a few weeks ago for the first time. She only got out of the fecned area once. Her nipples are getting really big. And she has a little buldge on her tummy. She was trowing up the other day, that may not have anything to do with it but anyway, Is she pregnant? Also she is always following me and right behind me, but the last few days she like wont leave my side. I sit she sits on me. She nuzzles her head around my neck. Whats going on with her? I think she is wayyy to small to have babys. Shes only 6 pounds. ??????

There are two pet stores in this area that sell puppies from puppy mills. I heard the one in the mall sells 20 puppies per week! I can't stand the thought of that many people willing to support those horrible places! I know that most of them are uneducated about where the puppies come from and they just want a companion puppy, not one that will compete in shows or for breeding. I would like to open a pet store that would support adopting from shelters (both of my pups are from the local shelter) or from a rescue group, but that does offer puppies for sale from responsible breeders for people who think they must have a puppy (there are not many puppies at our local shelters) so they don't have to buy from the mall, but they are not supporting puppy mills. Unfortunately, pet stores have such a bad reputation nobody will sell to them. I would counsel and interview each prospective owner to make sure the puppies went to a good home, and would not sell to them if not. Any ideas?

I have a love of animals and i want every kind there is. I am 14 going on 15 and i have 18 pets. I have 2 cockatiels, 2 parakeets, 1 juvenile iguana, 1 baby water turtle, 2 central american wood turtles, 3 rats, 1 bullfrog, 2 cats, a water frog, fish, a corn snake and a couple fish. I know that sounds like a lot so thats why I am asking. Its like i cant stop caring for more and more animals. I dont live on a farm or in the country, i live in a small house in the middle of the city.
