i have a 6month old irish setter and recently he's refusing his food or just touching it, he is still active, has had his vacinations, he is vomiting now and then sometimes trying to vomit but failing to do so, he's been on and off like this for the past week, at first i thaught that he had an upset stomach but now i dont know what to think. he seems fine every other time but just wont eat his food, it aint anything to do with the brand of food as he gets fed fresh beef and rabbit, he had a bad night last week where i was up most of the night with him because he was being sick a lot all night but was ok in the morning. i was wondering if that night could have had some affect on him as he is a sensitive breed of dog. Any suggestions please?

I don't want to be cruel to the dog, but I've been told that once trained, it can hold its potty for 11 hours. We'd aim to leave it in a crate until it is fully house trained and content with us being away for such long periods. This will be our first experience of owning a dog, but both me and my wife are very keen. We have a fenced yard, but no place for a doggy door. We live in Texas - so very hot summers.

I want a Green Cheek Conure, Specifically in Cinnamon Turqoise... a breeder offered a Pyhurrias? Spelling? What do these look like? Since I can't get the spelling, I'm having a hard time finding a picture online.

My parents are getting ready to buy a house, but the garage has a very strong urine smell from 2 dogs from the previous owner. Is there an easy solution?

Yesterday morning went for a walk in the countryside with our collie Suzy.Under a hedge by the side of a lane Suzy found a dog fox looking cold and damp with a few slight cuts.I think he was to shocked and weak to even snap at us so we put him in a box and took him off to the vets.
Our vets a realy nice guy and checked the fox and confirmed nothing was broken. He gave us some antiseptic powder for his cuts and said that if we took him home to nurse for 3 or 4 days he would waive his fee on the understanding that if he was ok after that we would release him back where we found him,we agreed.
We got him home and gave him a warm shower, fed, watered him and left him in the kitchen in a dog basket.we setteled in front of the fire in the living room in front of the fire with suzy,Two hours later Mr fox came limping in and after a lot of muzzel licking setteled in front of the fire with the dog.He even seems to like being petted,Even whinning at the back door so he can go out on a lead for WC

I just recently found a black antique metal frame stand (beautiful) and a poorly taken care of fish tank. It has some chips on the edges, however I have taken the time to completly reseal the enite tankn and buy replacment bulbs (the only ones I could find that would fit) and rewire the hood. It all works now, but the lights are not very bright. The hood doesn't exactly fit the tank. The edges fit flush with thoutermost edge of the tank ( I'll probobly cut it down to make it fit) Here its is. THe lights tha fir the tank, are not very bright nor are they florecent. I turned them on with tank empty (I just resealed this old relic) and they give off a yellow glow. The lights I bought are ulta glows... Does anyone know how I can get a new light fixture for this tank and make it glow like my others? It just seems so dead. Help would be appreciated..

i have a toy poodle..his name is nicky..he's off white..but when i first got him (4 years ago), he was blonde with white little paws!..<3 so adorable!

ooh and turns out, they weren't kiddin when they said "poodles are smart"..one time, when me and the family were not home, he went in every room..(except mine-it was closed)..took every single shoe!, he lined them all by pairs, one straight line..all in the middle of the house, and he put this dog toy in the middle!!! i couldn't stop laughing

there was another time when my uncle was visiting us..he had a suitcase and really deep on the inside, there was a bag of chocolates..=D..so nicky (my dog) unzipped the bag..dug in, took the bag of chocolates out, opened it, unrapped a couple and ate like half the bag!!

can you beat this???

He gets over excited and jumps up at you most of the time. When he meets new people for the first time he jumps and pee's on their feet. It's getting to be a bit of a pain.

They are littermates, 15 months old. They were not raised together, I just got the second one 3 months ago, but they were both doing it in their separate homes. Whenever I leave the house the go to the bathroom. Even when I take them out right before and make sure they go, I'm gone for 15 minutes and when I come back, they have gone already. When I'm home, they are little angels with the bathroom issue. I have no idea how to correct a behavior that only occurs when I'm gone. HELP!

I mean fun tricks - Examples: roll over, fetch, speak, etc.
Not obedience commands - Examples: down, sit, no digging/scratching.

Our cat is 6 months old. He loves attention, He rubs his body on my leg but when i go to pick him up to pet him, he tries to bite.

Also we have a 12 year old Lab/Retriever cross and the cat wont stop trying to chew on the dogs legs. Everytime the cat tries to bite our dogs legs, our dog gets up and moves but the cat follows. Sometimes the dog barks at the cat to stop but he wont.

How do we get our cat to stop chewing and biting??

He has Loads of toys to play with but prefers to chew away.
