Does anyone know where i can get the dishes for feeding cats, that they step on the little flap and the lid flips up - not the pre timed ones.

We have a mamma kitty who had 6 baby kittens under our patio in July. She comes inside the door and brings her kittens in to eat and drink. She will not let us pet her or the kittens. Now the kittens are starting to spread out in the house after eating. They also will take naps on our chair for short periods of time. Now one has decided to hide under the bed. I think he wants to stay in. How can I get him or her to be more comfortable around us. To let us pet it?

I have rescued 4 yr old cocker spainel who, due to neglectful previous owners, has cronice ear infections in both ears and is constantly medicated. The store brought ear cleaners seem to hurt when I use them. Does anyone know or a home or herbal remidy for cleaning his ears? Buster the dog thanks you!

2 stories: My husband had a dog when we were dating about 9years ago. He found the dog laying on the ground taking his last breath almost dying and growing up people told us when a dog is sick give them milk. My husband gets the gallon of milk ,opens the dogs mouth and makes the dog drink it. After 5 minutes the dog gets up, almost falling but gets up and starts walking. That dog died of old age.
Another story: My small female chihuahua was coughing and vomiting and I gave her milk, within a few minutes, I no longer heard the cough and she stopped vomiting. Do my dogs just have strong digestive systems or what? Or does Milk really help sick dogs?Just wondering if anyone else has used this on there sick dog?

my other inlaws cat is about 3 years old, she was a stray until she took her in. she never had any shots and she ws never spayed. in the last month she has been loosing weight and now she is shrinking and her hair is starting to fall out. I asked my vet about it and they said she might have feline leukemia but it will cost almost $300 to have her tested and my mother in law is a senior citizen on a budget. I wish I could loan her the money to have the cat tested but I can't. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong with her? Also, I'm not sure if it matters but she has had 2 litters of kittens in the last 2 years, and she was a runt when we found her.

My 2 birds are healthy, eat, and chirp all day long. But they cant stop plucking their own feathers. Is this common? They have bald spots on parts of their body. Should i be concerned?

Please let me know if you are interested or know someone that is. I would like them to have a home together so they at least have each other. I love them to death and its going to kill me to get rid of them, but its selfish for me to keep them. They are too good of dogs to not be enjoyed by someone that can take the time to spend with them.

He is non-aggressive. I have had him for years but recently discovered that he will most likely out live me! I don't think I can care for him that long. I have no problems with him... just don't want to have a pet snake when I am 70! I am not trying to be insensitive...just don't know what to do

My ferret is a 6-year-old neutered male. A couple of weeks ago he started losing a lot of hair. I know that it is often a sign of adrenal disease, but he is not losing any hair at the base of his tail. Rather, it started in the middle of his back. He has a bald patch there, the hair is thinning on his belly and now he is starting to lose hair on his neck as well. I haven't noticed any unusual biting or scratching and his skin looks okay. Any thoughts on what the cause of this could be? He is eating well and acting okay. I don't want to take him to the vet unless I absolutely have to because I know it will cost hundreds of dollars and I just can't afford it.
