I have a female siamese cat. She is one year old. She has gotten in habit of eating lizards. I don't want her to eat lizards and I want her to stay indoors all the time. What should I do?

thanks

I have a cat sorta like this. You should just occasionally let your cat outside but supervise her. Give her space. My parents disiplined our cats sadly with a water bottle if she trys to eat a lizard spray her once. Only once everytime. Do not torture her with the water. She will so learn. Anyway she just a kitten. Ps you should give her toys that move around too. It with distact her from other things. Give treats and maybe get a catnip tree. Haha then play with her with the catnip toys. But atleast supurvise your kitty outside. Dont keep the poor thing cooped up. remember.

I think keeping her indoors would solve the problem, unless you have an infestation of lizards in your home.

Its so hard to keep the cats in the house when they are used to being outside. Mine begs constantly. I have learned to compromise. I let her out but I stay with her and make sure she doesn't eat grasshoppers and beetles. We play and she eats grass. She seems to be happy enough with that :)

Just keep her as a inside cat by blocking her ways out. It is kind of like child proofing your home.

hey !! thats really mean keeping her inside all the time !!
try being nicer to her to gain your trust !!! and if she wants to eat lizards then let her.
you wudnt like it if someone didnt allow you to step foot outside your house ??
