If you wipe just the glass and don't get anywhere near the top edge where some could leak over into the tank, you should have no problem. Just be sure to keep it far away from the water so neither the bleach nor the fumes come in contact with the water.

It won't but by using such a strong product on the outside, it is possible for the water to get contaminated. Fish are finicky-anything can disrupt their habitat and kill them. They have extremely delicate ecosystems so be careful and wash your hands before feeding them. Think about it...tapping on the glass is said to be unhealthy...

YIPES! Don't ever clean the glass on a fish tank with anything other that water and a towel! I have had many aquariums and that is a no no. Don't use glass cleaner either the amonnia will creap into the tank and make them sick if not kill them.

No, bleach won't penetrate aquarium glass. Don't use bleach on an acrylic (non-glass) aquarium - it could discolor the acrylic. But it's safe on glass.

Be careful not to get any INSIDE the tank! It's poisonous to fish!

No, the bleach will not penetrate to the inside of the tank. Just always make sure when you are washing a tank to rise it thoroughly. Other than that you should have no worries.

Glass isn't porous enough for water to leak out of it, so I don't think Clorox could leak into it.
