i would just like to reply to one lady that answered me i did research breeding before i did it do you think i would put my preasious pet through it if i did not unfortunately the puppies were born nearly a week earlier than they should have been i stayed with her right through it all and was always in contact with my vet i would just like to know if she has ever bred puppies and if so was she so perfect that she could do it all without havin to ask someones advice it is better to ask if you are unsure than make mistakes because you are to proud to admit you need help

Friends told me before I get a Hedgehog I have to get a Permit or a Lisence. I have been hatching Bearded dragons for quite some while but don't need a permit. Are they also an endangered species?

the next door neighbours cat keeps coming into my garden and hissing and clawing at my little dog , the cat totally seems not bothered one bit that my dog is barking at her and baring her teeth. and the cat is coming over to do this every time i let my dog out and i end up having to bring my dog in out of her own garden. i told the neighbour and all she said was so what let your dog do what it has to do, yet its her cat that is trying to attack my dog. what can i do?

Have a empty 200 gallon tank. Planning to keep either One Flowerhorn or Two Oscars. Would like to go for juvenile fishes anyway. Maintainance wise and other factors taken into consideration, which option is better ?

i got him last week, he is neutered, vaccinated, chipped everything and so affectionnate its great! also he's really playful. the stuff that bothers me is that he miows all the time when not playing/cuddling/eating/sleeping. he was rescued from a house with loads of cats and i wonder if he is calling for his buddies? also he's itching to go out but need to keep him in 3 weeks. he's really loving and attention doesn't stop him miowing as he gets loads but when he wants to miow that all he does. and as for being playful, perhaps a little too playful sometimes, he tears around the house knocking things over and is so hyper, especially on a morning! will he calm down? I've had cats before but was only young when they were young so don't remember them being this wild playing and this noisy!

I live in Greece, and I picked up the cat/kitten on Sunday near a taverna on the beach. How do I tell how old she is? And I would really appreciate any help.
Thank you!

My boyfriend and I brought home a 3 legged 6 month old from the local aspca. Her back left leg is amputated. She gets along pretty well, but has trouble jumping up on the bed and uses her claws. Is it possible for her claws to get ripped out? I read on here that it was a good idea to make some sort of stepping stone, which I am going to think about.
Down to the question. The vet told us that she needed to maintain and never gain any weight. She was very little when we got her, so she has grown a bit. Maybe 3-4 pounds. She seems hungry alot, but we decided that an open dish policy wouldn't work. What do you suggest on a feeding regime? Or maybe a brand that will keep her weight down as she gets older. Thanks!

I have a 5yr old malamute. No matter how many walks he goes on he still runs away if he gets a chance to be off leash. No matter how much we yell at him to come back he ignoars us. he eventualy comes home 1-2 hrs later when he is tired. Any ideas how I can make him an off leash dog I hate having to tie him up on camping trips and at the house. Thinking about a shockcoller.

Just joined this because it looked interesting. From my ID, you can tell I love cats but I didn't expect to be asking a "cat" question. Anyone know if a wild animal would scare a cat away from its own home. She was mainly an outdoor cat but never ever went far. She's tagged and all but she dissappeared during the day no less. I know at night, there's a hefty raccoon around here. I ask "wild animal" or "wildlife" because all of the dogs in the neighborhood are fenced in. I know I know, I shouldn't have turned my attention away from her for even a second but broad daylight? Called animal control and they haven't picked up a dead cat. Searched within almost a 3 mile radius of the neighborhood. Hasn't been long but I'm definitely worried. If she got scared, how long will she stay away? (If that is what happened.) She wasn't pregnant. Had her spayed a year ago. Thanks.

Does anyone have any proven ways to make the cage not smell so bad. We keep it clean but it still smells, its the first thing people smell when you open the door to the house

its a boy, he is 9 weeks old. is beige with brown legs and ears, but his paws are white. he has a splash of white going down his nose like someone has spilt paint on him. i have thought of 'solomon' so far.....but dont know whether to go for a more oriental name. i prefer proper names, not stuff like 'fluffy' or 'squigglewiggles' lol. thanks in advance !
