Have a empty 200 gallon tank. Planning to keep either One Flowerhorn or Two Oscars. Would like to go for juvenile fishes anyway. Maintainance wise and other factors taken into consideration, which option is better ?

Oscars are undoubtedly better because they are not hybrids like Flowerhorns are. Hybridization among aquarium fishes, particularly Cichlids, is becoming an increasingly large problem in the hobby. It should not be supported in any way, shape, or form.

Additionally, Oscars tend to have more "personality" than the Flowerhorns and are more interactive with their owners.

me personally I would go for the pair of Oscars not hard to maintain and fun to have and a 200 gallon tank would be perfect for a pair of Oscars and a pleco
