Well at least you can spell research, she seems to have a few problems with that word. Your pups for the moment are fine, give them to the end of the week and keep their eyes clean. She is right about one thing though, i wouldn't take them in to the vets unless the vet says to do so. Just give the vet a call at the end of the week if their eyes are still closed to get a little professional advice. At the moment, enjoy how cute they are, once their eyes are open and they are trotting all over the place you will have your hands full, they go from being cute and sweet and adorable to cute and sweet little buggers....lol enjoy. You sound so pleased to have them. I think you're asking for a little advice just proves you are a loving caring responsible owner. Don't let others opinions who don't know you bother you. Maybe the lady is just having a bad day and didn't mean to sound as brusk as she has. :-)

Give them time. Just because she is exactly 2wks doesn't mean their eyes pop open that day. Relax, I have been breeding APBT's for a decade and some barely open their eyes at 3wks! Its ok as long as the pups don't have any green discharge coming from the closed eyes. If that happens, then you might want to rush them to the vet. It takes time if you feel like there is something wrong with the pup go ahead and take it to the vet asap. Don't want that pup to die due to lack of knowledge or vet care. Good luck and pray!

You are right! Some people here must think they are god! Eyes will open when they open. My litter that was born at 58 days, the pups opened there eyes around 2 1/2 weeks. If there is no sign of eye infection, then the eyes will open when they are ready. I did have a pup several years ago where we needed to open the eyes for her because of infection. Try to ignore some of the snots here. They can really piss a person off!

Don't waste your time with these unhelpful people. Just ignore their answers! It was a good question and I'm sure your pups are going to be fine.
