what can I do to stop this mess is there anything. I know that this is a crazy question because this is a natural process. I am going to have her fixed as soon as she is over this thing this is her first one. ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!LOL!!

Pet stores sell diapers for dogs in heat - you can use those.

It's not a crazy question. It definitely can be a problem. Pet stores actually sell belts that fasten around the dog's stomach and hold (in effect) a "doggy pad" where it needs to be to keep this from happening. We used one for our little girl dog before she was fixed, and our furniture thanked us.

you can buy diepers that are made for dogs or you can buy one peice tee shirts for a baby that snaps up the middle just cut out a hole for the tail and when she goes to the potty then unsnap it,,, this is what i used on one my dogs when she went into heat and when they get dirty then you just have to put it into the washer and reuse it.. I hope this helps and that is good that you are getting her fixed cause there is so many unwanted and homeless dogs in shelters that are being put to sleep

Buy some baby diapers and put a hole where the tail is. So much better than having blood everywhere, ewe! Good Luck!

Yes Absolutely! They make doggy diapers for when their in heat. You can buy them at pets mart. Just take it off when you let them outside.

they make "doggy diapers" for bitches in heat... like a diaper shapped maxi pad that goes right over the dogs back end with a little place for teh tail... or you could do what my mom did... Tea towels & baby diper pins...wrap up her rear end! if you didn't know that you really SHOULD NOT be breeding your dog & you should get her SPAYED IMMEDIATELY!

get a pair of bitches britches or a baby diaper size 2 cut a hole for the tail and you are going to need something to cover it with we used my daughters rumba panties and cut them where we could tie them tight

go get a couple of pairs of babies clothe pull-up's, cut out a hole for the tail and there you go, take em off for potty's and put on for running around the house.
