My pet gopher, Big Boy, is getting a little older and i want to get me somemore gophers but i dont want to pay for them. My friend has a female gopher that Big Boy really seems to like and I think they would make cute babies.

Although gophers breed year round, breeding is most common in March and in July or August.
Most Babies are spring babies, you will have to check the gestation for the particular breed of gopher you have.

Good luck and hope you get some babies

Gophers reach sexual maturity at about 1 year of age and can live up to 3 years. Females produce one to three litters per year. In nonirrigated areas, breeding usually occurs in late winter and early spring, resulting in one litter per year, whereas in irrigated sites, up to three litters per year may be produced. Litters usually average five to six young.
