Have patience and let nature take its course. There is a stray living under my house, and maybe ten years from now it'll {Idon't know the sex} come to me. My Stimpy doesn't growlat it anymore.

If you have got a small room like a laundry room or toilet wherein you'll positioned him that could be satisfactory. Make definite to position in a litterbox, a few meals and water, plus somewhere tender to sleep. Do you have got a nightlight for the room so it is not wholly at midnight always? (Mine does not have a window) If the kitten looks to be very younger (not up to 6 weeks), you are going to ought to move to the shop and get a few KMR (kitten milk alternative). It's essentially kitten system. The kitten will want the nutrients which can be furnished within the system. It's approximately $thirteen for a cannister, however must final rather a couple of days if you're simply feeding one kitten .....(I used to be feeding it to 7 kittens). I purchased mine at Walmart, however in addition they promote it a areas like Petsmart, Petco and almost always even your regional feed retailer. Put it out in a small shallow dish -- a saucer works first-class. It he's so younger that he does not know the way to lap, positioned a few on his nostril and he'll lick it off. You might ought to lightly stick his nostril into it a pair occasions so he can determine it out. Otherwise you'll feed it tender canned meals and even kitten chow softened up with slightly of water or KMR. Make definite you get kitten chow .... once more, extra vitamins and minerals plus it is less complicated for the kitten to bite. Visit the kitten within the room you have got furnished a few occasions an afternoon. Talk quietly and do not transfer too rapid. It will take a couple of days, however he must hot as much as his new loving loved ones quickly. After a couple of days, allow it out to discover your dwelling -- satisfactory if you'll close off all however a pair rooms such because the kitchen and loved ones room. Do it at a time that's quite quiet. Be reasonable warned that the kitten MAY have an twist of fate or 2 at the same time it is being used to his new dwelling --- if it is too busy on your family, he won't consider riskless sufficient to get again to his clutter field. But inside a couple of days, you are going to have a kitten purring and short of to snuggle up with you. Meanwhile, situation an additional litterbox wherein you desire it to be and exhibit it to the kitten. Scratch his ft in it. Best if you'll manipulate to try this approximately 20 mins after he eats. Then slowly transfer the secluded room clutter field to the identical position because the favored position. For a couple of weeks, you'll use some thing as practical as a foil pan (get mine from the Dollar Store) for a litterbox. Then they get too large for the pan. Then when you get him tamed, you'll take him to the vet for the wanted pictures and worming. Please be a in charge puppy proprietor and feature him constant while he is approximately 6 months historic. Enjoy ....

After we got home I had him in the bathroom with food, water adn litter box, the smaller the room less hiding places and just spent time with him. In a couple days he came around and would accually come to me for attention. Now 8 years latter George sleeps in my bed, begs to be pet and is just a great cat!

When I collected my cat from from a rescue centre she had two kittens in a large cage. One was sleeping peacefully because it had been 'tamed' the other was totally wild/ferrel, it was still really viscious!
The lady I got my cat from explained to me that it needed to get used to being handled and how she did this was to wear an oven glove and stroke the kitten.
The kitten continued to hiss, spit and claw wildly but the lady assured me that eventually like the other kitten already had, it would calm down because the claws had no affect on the oven glove. Ultimately, once the kitten had worked out that it's claws had no affect, the glove was no longer needed and the cat got used to being handled and was therefore tamed.

go slow, take some of your things (like a shirt you wore the previous day) and put it where the kitty sleeps. then whe s/he leaves take that clothing/item and rub it on your hands. Then try to pet the kitty. Your scent & the kitty scent will mix between the both of you.
If that doesn't work do what I did, go for the kitty and sit down pettin and talking calm words to it (be careful, the cat probably will scratch & defend itself)

Hope you have time and patience !!!
I have 3 wild kittens I caught hem at about 7 weeks old .
just try to keep them in a specific room for a couple of weeks give them food and water and keep a clean litter box in with them.
then just go into the room and sit there let them get used to you being in there .once they realize you are not a threat and wont hurt them then they will start to check you out and then its up to them, it took about a month for mine .

The mom is going to stay very protective for a while like any mother but do not try to push yourself to get close to the cat, the more space you give the cat, the more it will appreciate your presents.
