I absoultley love LOVE my black lab Zoey. She is sooo great. But latley she's been jumping up on me and when I pull up she runs and jumps on the car. There are now scrathes all over it and my dad kicked her because she did this.
I don't want her to be like this, she needs some manners, any tips? She's 7 months old, spayed, knows sit and shake.

Way more than normal. He's been to the vet recently all is well. Slight heart murmur, but no more than to be expected at his age.
Border Collie / Spaniel cross and he is my special baby.
New happenings in our house: kids back to school, two kittens we are fostering; but he has been through this before. Anyone else with a geriatric dog had similar experiences?

This is the second set of puppies we are having and the first set Cleo had 5. Cleo seems to be much bigger this time round. She also seems alot more temperamental than last time when it comes to the one puppies we kept, but at the same time she is much more loving to our family.
She will be spayed as soon after the pups are gone

My husbands boss gave us a at least 6 year old boxer who was a yard dog at a lumber yard he was going to take her to have her put down and my husband offered to take her. According to his boss she had a gastrointestinal problem and the vet gave her a year to live, his boss gave her the medication and took her back and they said the dog would be fine since it was treated. When we got the dog she was very skinny and I have had her a year and she still has not gained hardly any weight. Her bones poke out and she just looks so miserable. Here in the last year I have had neighbors calling and complaining to animal control that I am not feeding my dog and I am neglecting her. I would never do that, I have tried to get her to gain weight and nothing is working. She eats so fast she throws her food up, usually foam. She is a playful dog and very loving I would hate to have her taken away due to people thinking she is being neglected and not fed. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

my dog got out of the fence and we cant find her anywhere. she has done this before but always comes back or we are always able to find her. she has been gone for almost 6 hours and we cant find her in any of her usual spots. she is a pit bull and its dangerous for her to be out because people dont go up to a pit bull and say "hey doggy lets try and find your home" instead they get scared and throw rocks at her. pit bulls are also banned where i live but its not really inforced everyone has them but if they are found running lose the pound just puts them to sleep. im freaking out and dont know what to do. my dog is my baby. i usaully watch her every time i let her out in the yard but this morning i was sleeping and my mom let her out and forgot about it. i dont know what to do. please HELP

I am making a pole-barn into a horse and cow barn. Right now it only has the metal on the roof and the exterior and dirt on the floor inside. What materials do I need to build some horse stalls, approximately 4? Is it recommended to cement the floor, or should I keep it just dirt? I want to make the each stall about 10x11(so there is enough room for the horse to move around). If you think it is cheaper to just buy the stalls premade and I put together my self with my family, where can I get these premade stalls at? Also, where can I get the cheapest, yet most quality horse supplies? Thanks. Please don't reply if your just going to say something like" you should know what and where you get your horse supplies" because that doesn't answer my question and that's what yahoo answers are for, to get ANSWERS!

She fits all the requirements, she's super-smart, fast and stealthy. I think it's totally possible, don't you? Plus she'd be so adorable in her little ninja outfit...;-)

Well, I was in the middle of reading an article about horses, and they stated that a horse would eat a piece of steak if you threw it in their pen (Obviously if they were very hungry). I do believe there is some truth to it, as the first evidence of horses shown they might of been carnivores. Do I have my facts straight, or am I false? What do you think? Just wanted to know.

Okay dog owners/ those familiar with dogs, I got a question. I got this puppy back in February and is your normal dog. Sometimes she drinks her water too fast and ends up throwing it up in a wet belch. That's fine, she is just an impetuous puppy afterall.

What is weird though is for seemingly out of nowhere she'll start heaving like she has the hiccups. Instantly she switches into "vacuum cleaner mode" and stalks the floors with her face down licking the carpets making an underwater glub glub sound. She is apparently collecting and consuming dog hair. If she were to be outside, she would start eating the grass.

I know dogs like to eat grass to settle upset stomachs, but this doesn't seem to be the case. She doesn't barf after slurping around, she just lays down again. Even if I stop her and put her in her cage she seems fine, like the event is more mental than physiological.

Any suggestions?
