This is the second set of puppies we are having and the first set Cleo had 5. Cleo seems to be much bigger this time round. She also seems alot more temperamental than last time when it comes to the one puppies we kept, but at the same time she is much more loving to our family.
She will be spayed as soon after the pups are gone

Great...spaying AFTER 2 backyard bred litters. I guess it is better than 3.

5 -6 is about average. I used to raise them. The biggest litter I had was 7. I know someone who had a litter of 10, but that is a rarity. Good luck with the little family!

We had a Min Pin foster last year and she had 5 puppies. The puppies were a mixed breed. We think they were part beagle. So they were a little bigger than the average Min Pin puppies. Good luck with your puppies and good thinking having mama spayed.

I knew a woman who raised them. Her pups biggest litter was nine. That don't mean they couldn't have more. Another person I knew raised Boston Terriers, it had 18, so you never know unless you have her checked.
