I got an aquarium, in 2 days i want to get my first fish ever. Which ones should i get, up to 7 bucks each. CAn i get some names of the fishes, and can i put crabs in it, little ones:D

I walk her twice in the moring (5:00am and 9:30am) just before work. Sometimes when I come home she will poop and pee on my bed sheets. Also she will do the same thing in my office. When I'am home she loves nothing but attention. Please help.

Yesterday, I just assumed he had accidently scratched himself. But today there's a place about the size of my fist that there is no hair and no top skin. The fur around it is stained with blood. It almost looks like a bad burn.

But during the day while I'm at school and work he stays in a lot, and I looked around and couldn't find any signs of sharp fencing or anything with hair and blood on it. I wonder if he's biting himself over anxiety. Or does anyone else know what it could be? Should I take him to the vet in the morning?

Advice, please!

he seems to have poisening. our other cat died when she did this a few months ago. she died in about 45 minutes after we noticed the water comming out of her mouth. our vet says this cat is sure to die also but he is still alive after about 24 hours of this,. also he is eating and drinking fine he is even fairly active, but the water is still coming out of his mouth. has any one heard of this and do you think it is just taking a long time for him to die/. he doesnt seem to be in any pain.

I have two females and one male parrot in a community tank. The females are obsessed with making hills and valleys with the stones at the bottom of the tank and then proceeds to attack any fish that dares to approach their claimed territory. I presume they are making nests to produce their eggs. What do I do about this since the other fish are all carnivores.

My dog can get very aggressive to my other two dogs, and I'm not sure on what to do with him. I've tried time out and rousing at him, and have tried showing him the correct behaviour but it doesn't seem to work. He's gets particulary bad when he gets into trouble and the other dogs don't - he will attack one of them straight away. Sometimes he just attacks for no reason and he's been bad for that today. I've resorted to rotating the dogs inside and outside so they all get a chance to go to the toilet and have a run, and when he's near the other dogs I have to constantly walk him around on a lead so he can't attack. Any suggestions, and has anyone else ever dealt with this? He's not aggressive to me, just the other dogs. I also don't believe in hitting my dogs, so please no suggestions of that. Thank you

my hammy has taken to chewing his bars (soooo noisy), he has plenty of chew toys, and he's actually starting to make a gap between some of the bars! I'm scared he may escape, is there any way i can get the little *£!?@*, i mean little darling, to stop this?!

I swear, we treat him good, he's a spoiled kitty. I think he's just bored sometimes and wants to play, but it really hurts. He'll sneak up on you, usually your foot, bite really hard, and then run away. How do I get him to stop?

We got a new puppy about 1 month ago. He has been having problems when drinking water. We noticed that he would take a few drinks of water then it was coming back up through his nose. Today at the vet, he told and showed us that our puppy has an incomplete soft palate. His soft palate on the left side never formed. Does anyone have any info or websites that I can check for info on this matter? Thanks for your help

My cats are 100% inside cats. They rarely see the light of day, and like it that way. From my understanding, it can only be contracted from other cats through prolonged exposure or bite/scratch wounds, so would it be ok if I skipped that vaccine this year?

i have a 3 1/2 month chihuahua male, who weighs 1.9 lbs. i live in illinois and it has been cold the last two days, not sure if that is a factor or not. he had his second puppy shots this thursday, also dont know if that is a factor. he seems to be shaking alot so ive given him lots of blankets to curl in. also he has no appetite, but will drink water. he seems to be extra wide in his upper body and rib area, more so than usual, possible bloating? he also yikes and whines here and then, usually i think when he is uncomfortable. he moves around alot till he can find a comfy place to lay and seems to be very tired. he has vomited about 6 times throughout the day, the last time being watery. he hasnt gotten into anything, he stays in a playpen most of the time when i cant look after him. i do have an appointment to see the vet tommarow morning at ten, but i was just wondering if there were any vets, vet techs or breeders who might have an idea whats wrong.

my dog has always been eating light science diet dogfood. i found out there is food made just for labrador retrievers. i want to change to that food but he's doing so well i can't decide. should he stay on that food or should i get him the new food?

they told me that I was cruel to my cat by not letting her have her first litter. they informed me that it's very beneficial on her temperment to have a litter before spaying her. I totally disagree with this. I mean, if it was so cruel than why does the SPCA spay females before they're 6 months old. females DO NOT need to have one litter. their temperment is no better than before in my opinion. my female was spayed before her first heat and is the sweetest girl ever!!!!! I'm not talking about the responsible breeders. just the back yard ones who let their cats produce kittens becuase they believe that it's their nature and and they want "cute little furballs". they say that their cat loves being a mother. this one lady said that having a first litter is good for her health. I think that these people that I've been seeing on her are totally 100% clueless!!!! what do you think? there are to many unwanted cats/kits in this world for anybody to let their female produce more!
