I keep my 2 kitties strictly inside for various reasons. there are soooooo many bad things that can happen to them while there out there roaming around unsupervised. so which is it for yours? please tell why? I'm just curious! Thanks!

My dog was treated for a bacterial infection about a month and a half ago and she is still showing signs of the infection. Its red near her abdominal. she is losing her hair in certain spots or in patches. She is biting her tail, back area, and so forth. she was giving oral antibiotics, giving fish protein to mix in her food, and a shampoo to was her three times a week for three weeks. everything was done and given to her but she still has this problem. The vet didnt really know what her problem is he took her skin graph and still nothing showed up, what is the problem? Until i get her back to the vet what could I do to stop the itching?

i have a california kingsnake and i built him a cage. its large enough for 2 snakes so i figure he can have a roommate. i know kingsnakes eat other snakes but i herd of kings and others living together. i cant find anything that tells what they are if any. and for safety i want to be sure before i commit. help. please.

Ok... so... I live in a condo with two floors the 3rd and the 2nd and i have two baconys on each floor. SO im sittin in my room on the second floor and i hear rustling... I thought my dad came and then isee a squrell running by my window... I AM SHAKING RIghtH NOW.. I AM REALLY SCARED OF THOSE THINGS.. so i have a feeling that it bit through the net on the balcony on the third floor, iit happened before, but i was never inside the house when it happened. Squrriels bit through the net ate my food, dug up whatever they could find into my flower pots and left.. no i am stuck here HORRIFIED>. what sould i do?????/

ok i have a five month old labrador retreiver and he is very friendly and playful but the last couple of days he has been sick, he has been vomiting and had dirreah (sorry i think i spelled it wrong)and a fever and i tried giving him medicine but it won't work. i already took him to the vet and she said that he might have ate something that could have upset his stomach. I am really scared because he hardly drinks water and whatever he eats he vomits. i could take him to the vet again but its kind of expensive and i know i'll get the same answer again. does anyone know any home-made remedies or something that might work..please please please help me!!

Besides myself and my husband, in our family is our 10 year old son and a 2 year old Ferret. We have a very old dog who is passing away soon. I have been researching the best kind of breed for us, but not getting very far. I would like a small dog. Something that doesn't shed much, and barks very little and that does NOT have the tendency to run off and explore. Something that can be left alone a normal day when we are working, and learns fairly easily. Any suggestions?

I own a small racing farm and I'v ebeen doing great. 5 hours ago a neighbor dropped a foal that everybody thinks is going to die. The owner wanted to kill it because it would cost thousands to save it. It's hopelessly skinny, weak, she has sores all over her mouth, and had a skin desease. What should I do first? don't say the vet because i just had to throw him off the property because when i told him what had happened this is what he said: "look it's foaling season and I'm busy. I'll just put it down"

I'm not giving up without a fight. Help me, please. I don't have any mare producing milk so what is the next best thing? And what else do I do?
