Here is a good compatibility chart. You can follow the site through to see pictures of the fish as well. Chose what you like rather then depending on others' opinions

You can keep any community fish with guppies. Examples are Swordtails, platties, neon tetras, zebra danios, black tetras, ...
Remember that size does matter you should not put a fish that is less than 3/4 the size of the largest fish in the tank. Use live plants, plastic plants, Rocks, pieces of slate to create hiding. If you have fancy guppies you do not want to put plain guppies in the tank. A female guppy can give birth many time with one encounter of a male. I like to put schooling fishes in a display tank. I like zebra danios because they will school near the top of the tank. I also line neon tetras because the school at the bottom of the tank (be careful because neon's are small fish)

Well, you could keep just small, tropical fish would be fine...like, Platy's, molly's, swordtail's, tetra's, etc. I had all of those once in my tank. Now I just have a 10 gallon tank with just guppies, and the catfish and the algae eater. Then I have a 38 gallon tank with Striped Convicts. But I would like to get back to buying tropical fish again real soon!

First guppys and neons like distinctive water chemistry. The fish keep could have distinctive water chemistry than you. Neons do in comparison to salt interior the water. How properly did you rinse the tank after cleansing? incredible close to or on the precise shows loss of oxygen interior the water. the two you have no longer any floor stream or something (decorations) is making use of the oxygen. Bettas do no longer use the oxygen interior the water. They suck air from the precise. they can't use oxygen from the water. Are you including any chemical compounds to the water? the place are you getting the water? Do a one hundred% water exchange and upload no longer something to the water. Cycle 24 hours and upload one or 2 fish. i might use guppys i may well be keen to guess that's the water.

You can pretty much mix any sort of fish you want with a guppy; just make sure that they aren't too much larger than the guppies because they'll eat them. Aggressive smaller fish may be a problem, too, as they might want to shred fins.Other than that, you're good to go! lol.

anything that wont bully them, nip at them, or eat them. Ask your pet stores for more help. Neon tetras should be fine. Mabey some glass fish, or a betta? and yes, bettas can be kept with most fish. i have mine with a gourami, and glass fish.
